I use one of these as a personal Keyboard/Vocal monitor (line in). I have gigs every week, and I just set the level just high enough so that it assists in articulating my vocals. It just sets on top of my keyboard, directed at me. Never had any issues with battery life. It's light, compact, and just works...
Anker Sound core 2 is about the same price. Louder and longer battery life.

Hi David, I don't own the Tribit XSound Go (I can't comment on the sound), but upon researching, I found it better than the Oontz Angle 3 in some aspects. The Tribit has a better battery life (24 hours vs. 14), water resistance (IPX7 vs. IPX5), and a USB-C connection (vs. Micro USB). The Tribit is $10 more than the Angle 3 but has better features than the Oontz Angle 3.
Would have liked to have heard the on/off/pairing sound as well as a few vocal samples of music
How long does it last? I bought one in 09/20 and it’s not functioning now.
Hi Roberta, I did a 6 month update a few weeks ago and mine is still going strong. I would reach out to Cambridge Works support.

The instructions are for ULTRA speakers which are $39, not the $25 ones you're reviewing.
The Bass is very low
