This oculus' worst headset, it is litterally phone VR, the resolution is bad, there's only rotation tracking (the controller doesn't move, and the headset is pinned in place) please just get a quest 1, given it'll be cheaper now, or a quest 2, or just ANY other 6 dof headset.
The funny thing is, I’m actually watching this on my Oculus Go in TH-cam VR right now!

Go ahead and get one, then. The 32 GB model is only $150. That might sound like a lot, but the price was recently slashed by Oculus, as it was $200 before. Trust me, you won’t regret it.

This is just the beginning. Someday we will have VR headsets like they do in the movie Ready Player One. Lightweight and small but still capable of realistic 8k graphics.
CoreyMcKinneyJr UH BUDDY, we’re past this future, we’re in the quest future, careful don’t get a go if you want gaming unless if you ONLY care about the go, this is just a warning since I’ve seen people mess up and get a go when they wanna game :c

So how are you liking the Quest? I find it really uncomfortable. I can only wear the thing for 20 minutes before I have to take it off. No matter how I adjust it after about 20 minutes I'm experiencing neck pain or sornece around the eyes

i have my quest 2 already and im just curious so i wanted to see the other tutorials. the reason im doing this is be cause i took a nap for about 2 hours and i plugged in my headset before i went to sleep. then when i wake up i realize that ITS NOT PLUGGED INTO THE WALL

Why do I need a phone to setup and use my vr headset? I thought that was the whole point of the Oculus Go.
You only need it the first time to set it up.

@@CinePhil101 how are you supposed to set it up otherwise? Using a phone takes way less time to do because you have a tap keyboard. It's impossible to do it with the headset anyway even if you wanted to because it can't connect to it's controller without Wi-Fi. If you could, it probably could have to be wired and that's a big problem. This is our age, not the age of the Ready Player One OASIS.
@@tbd5921 We need a portable computer to setup another portable computer. That's so lame. The fact that you can't connect it's controller without Wi-Fi is just another wtf!? It feels like Facebook is forcing us to install their app on our phones. Not to mention the reminders on my home screen that I should try logging with a Facebook account instead. Whatever, I finally manage to complete my setup after too many hours of troubleshooting.

But if you want to get more VR experience, you can install riftcat on your computer and play SteamVR games on your oculus go

You made the right decision. Don't get the Quest. The Quest may have better games and graphics and longer battery life but it's really uncomfortable because of the added weight. I can only wear mine for about 20 minutes

You'll have to be connected to a Wi-Fi network to use and access most features and content.

No, but the Oculus Quest does include manual adjustment

No no no no. Don't get it. The go is getting discontinued and the go is mainly for viewing media content. Get the quest for both gaming and media.

The GO began not displaying the media thumbnails in Oculus Gallery...the media plays however. How to reset the thumbnail views without deleting then recopying files to headset?
You omitted the only part I'm here for. I cant do anything because it says headset updating. I wait hours and still the same thing. I thought yall were going to mention how long it takes for headset to update but you didn't mention anything about it.
Also, if it is updating, why is there no way to see the progress of the update. I dont know if its 50% complete or 0%
Alright, I just online chatted with customer support and it worked.
The solution for me: You have to factory reset the Oculus go by holding the power button and plus sign at he same time. After that, I restarted the steps and I was even able to see the progress of the update. Voila.
