Also, I’ve met him at a time in my life when I had just come through doing major healing after having my self esteem, self confidence, and self worth destroyed by someone I was involved with for many years. Meeting a guy of any age who is truly into me and appreciates me for me is absolutely refreshing and validating. I think he’s going to help me get rid of any lingering negative thoughts and doubts I have about myself. Age is just a number and neither one of us are bothered by it. I have no expectations, I am just going to go with it and enjoy our time together. Truly liberating for me! ☺️
I'm 42 and he is definitely my youngest, 20 years younger. Been trying to figure out how to navigate telling my oldest daughter as my other 2 are excited and love him. I was 36 and he was 24 when we met. 12 years age gap. When he ask my aged on my birthday, he's bit disappointed when he learned that I am older than him. He thought that we are on the same age or maybe I am older 2 years than him. So I sleep that night thinking Que sera sera whatever will be will be. A message from him woke me up the next day saying "Hey Birthday Girl Wake Up". Then the rest is history. He knows when I feel uncomfortable of my wrinkles, freckles and unstable body. This is all so true and me too I've experienced the true attraction to a younger man. It was during some non-date time spent in meaningful conversations and constant smiles (he is the coach of my child). Actually I feel embarrassed of my almost constant thinking about him and I started to avoid him (which doesn't help much my mental addiction haha), because first of all I am married to a very descent guy and second, I am 43 and he is 28. I've never spoken about any of that to him or to anybody else... the only thing is when I have to talk to him I can't refrain myself from asking him " How are you" in a somewhat special way hah and I felt he answered once "How are YOU?" haha my God I really sound like a teenager.

Yep he thought I was younger and I thought he was older. I was 48 and he was 36! It was a year of fun. How’d I do it? I learned to let myself be my feminine self, appreciate them for who they are right now, definitely loved the banter, and oh so many adventures.

You make it sound like we, the older women are there to date the younger man to teach him how to more of himself. I’m drawn to men younger than me because if their sexual prowess and energetic abilities as I’m a very active 50 year old woman.
But if I date a man it’s because I might be interested in a long term relationship with him. My casual days are done as I’ve just ended a toxic relationship with a 36 yr old Narcissistic man.
We aren’t in this world to train anyone.

I’m not into “younger” men, just happens some of the ones I like are younger than me. But I think I want what every one wants: someone who is healthy, happy, independent & kind, financially responsible. My issue right now is my own health, illness isn’t always great going into a relationship. And I’m past the child bearing age, I know lots of not most men want someone to start their own family with.
It’s 100% possible to heal and create something new

Very well put. I have and always have dated younger men, but usually by only a few years. Several years ago I dated a man in his 30s. You are so right. It helped him to become more of the man he wanted to become. And it was wonderful for me to embrace my feminine side. Which can be quite powerful for a woman. They like the straight talking, clear actions, maturity in dealing with problems, the experience, knowledge and streetwise nature appeals to them. I've always been in relationships with younger guys, but married a guy 10 years older than me! It didn't work because I'm very childlike in character and I think they like that but my husband was intimidated by the attention I got. They also always say I understand them!
I always ask them about something that they are into. I give them the opportunity to teach me something about what they are excited about. (Some other things are, the tone of voice, the WAY in which to flirt... there’s more but... I’ll save that for later. 🙂)

I get that, but realize you're the one rejecting yourself, not them. Flirting is safe, but if you're not comfortable with just that, just smile and be yourself, open and warm. And if he moves more forward from there, just a tad, then just play with it and enjoy it without expecting anything. Very often but that will build to something, and it's all safe.
