Am I the only one that ties a piece of paracord from zipper to zipper to make it easier getting zipped up?
Great video! I have many hammocks, mostly Grand Trunk, but I've been thinking about this Hammock Gear after ordering my first tarp from them. I'm impressed with the quality of my tarp, I hope the hammocks are just as good.

I’ve examined every stitch on things Adam had made. I’m sure he had a staff now. But the quilts that I have bought and this hammock? I can say every stitch is perfect. I also have a hammock from Dream Hammocks, Papa Smurf. Great quality as well. The paracord from zipper to zipper? Great idea. My thing is a loop of paracord coming from the carabiner through the tied end. I use it to pull myself up to the head end, which I like a bit higher. Thanks for stopping by.

That was probably the best review and how to set up a camping hammock I've ever watched!! My son just finished his Eagle Scout Project and it consisted of erecting and cementing in 5 hammock poles (12 foot 6x6's) with eye hole screws for 8 hanging places. They can just wrap with straps as well. Lots of scouts like to use hammock tents nowadays!! Great timely video for me for sure!! Loved it!!🪱🪱🪱

I always think back and wish I had continued in scouting. It is truly an amazing accomplishment in becoming an Eagle Scout. Congratulations to your Son. Thank you for watching.

I would love to have a hammock. A tent is good but hammocks are so much quicker to set up and take down. Several people I watch has them and they do look more comfortable than laying on the ground.

I prefer a hammock very much over a tent. The only thing that is better about a tent is that you can have things laid out beside you.

@@joesoutdoorplaces And have a private place to change clothe unless you set up a tarp and then the ends are open. LOL

Joe really impressive and you explained everything thoroughly. Enjoyed this video very much! I went and grabbed my husband who was working on his airplane and we just love this hammock! It looks way more comfortable than the one he had in the Army. I want one now. Lol This would make a great gift for my husband. I see there is a hammock shop over in Myrtle Beach, but I'm sure they are not of this high quality. Great job! You are going to sleep like a baby in that Joe! Lol yes, easy peasy! 🤣 🙂👌💙

Hey how much denier was this hammock you can choose 40d or 70d for single layers? And is this hammock soft and comfy like parachute fabric with all that bulk I assume it should? But the fabric does look kind of stiff and more rigid when setup and inside I definitely try to avoid those characteristics.. For me the parachute fabric is just the best you can have for a hammock..

The fabric is 70 denier hex rip stop nylon. Single layer. I’ve always known parachutes to have once been made of silk but are now made with rip stop nylon. I normally hammock camp in fall and winter. I wear long underwear so I cannot speak of the comfort of this fabric on bare skin. What would differentiate this nylon from parachute nylon? I may need to know when I purchase my next hammock. Thank you for stopping by.
