i guess im asking the wrong place but does any of you know a method to get back into an Instagram account..? I somehow forgot my login password. I would love any tips you can offer me
@Kendall Augustine i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and im waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
would you go into more detail about the bubble balancer I'm in the process of building a pro street possible just straight drag car. and have watch a lot of your videos so informative. thank you please don't stop making these
Do you have any tips for Radials ? And it would by nice if you could teach us about tire compounds (wich compound for which car and track conditions) and the difference between M/T or Goodyear or Hossier tires :) Thanks ! Greetings from germany
Horses for courses. Track, weather, power output. Both Goodyear and Hoosier really only have limited no of heat cycles before they have nothing. But both are very good tyres for the well heeled. This is applicable to drag, dirt, road racing. Some other brands have more heat cycles but probably are not quite as good initially. Of the two my preference is Hoosier but not by much. And that is dirt and road racing. But I am sure applicable to drags as well. And driving any race tyre on the street is both dangerous and making that tyre hard real quick!
So you stretch the tire with air pressure to match the set. Now after a few passes (each pass) when the rollout changes, how do you adjust? Air pressure again?
Over inflate the smaller one and wait. Recheck Rolll out. Drag tries are sold in inch sizes. Mount and check, ajust. I did tires for Bruce Littion and JR Todd
Hi, i have been enjoying the videos. The torque spec must specify the use of anti-seize? I am used to passenger cars where I am encouraged not to use anti seize on bolts as it will effect the torque value. Thanks
Thanks for the video. I have a question for you if I may. You said that you will bring the tire down to 6# but my question to you is how do you determine the correct tire pressure for your car? How do you know what you really need? I mean we get 6# but how do you determine if you need 7 1/2 instead, thanks.
Use a tire pyrometer for setting tire pressure perfectly. Otherwise it's guess work by looking at the tire footprint and seeing how the car handles and how the tire wears
@@slowpoke96Z28 a tire pyrometer is a temperature probe for tires. Do a hot lap, then measure tire temps on the center and near both edges of the tread. The hotter places have more contact with the pavement. Adjust tire pressure, camber, and car corner weight to get even temps
@@slowpoke96Z28 for drag racing, you might get great 60 ft times with lower tire pressure, but the car can get unstable at high speeds. Be careful and adjust gradually
i want a hyper car replica that looks super fast and looks super expensive but actually cheap af and regular slow everyday to use as a beater car and i want a ultra rusty rotten stock looking worst car to build into a super fast sleeper car lol
That is center to center of the stud pattern. It should be measured across two holes center to center of the holes. NOT the diameter. 5 on 5 is 5" between centers of two holes.
This would be much better without all of the "One thing a lot of guys miss", or "Something a lot of people forget" bullshit. Just do the instructional video without all the condescending bullshit. If as many people missed all the shit you say they do, then you would be the only racer with working beadlocks.
Hi.
Thank you.
It's my first time doing beadlock slicks.
Tim your always transparent in teaching, Thank you.
Karl from Australia
Merry Christmas
thank you I am a 40 year mechanic never have been around beadlockers, thanks for the education
Wow! This was the most informative video I've ever seen for bead locks. I feel like I was in class. Nice job!

@Kendall Augustine it worked and I finally got access to my account again. I am so happy!
Thank you so much, you really help me out !
@Logan Cannon You are welcome =)
Thanks for recording this. It's the best beadlock "How To" I've seen.

thanks Tim..i just bough my first pair of beadlocks....this info is just what i was looking for!
Looking to go bead lock on our Jeep and your video had the most information and details about the subject
You doing some rock crawling? If not I'd suggest not doing it, makes mounting tires a bigger PITA
Ty. I like to see more on balancing these tires. Ty
Thanks alot for the informative videos. Learned alot from all your videos. I will make sure that next time i buy parts i will get them from you.
Thanks I ran Pro Mod a little in the mid 90s things a lot faster and more expensive but still love it !!!
Thank you for this comprehensive video. You are a wealth of information.
Great information well explained thanks for the great work on the video
WOW... thank you so much. Glad I watched this before I order my drag wheels and tires.
Nice technique with the tire spoons!
Dam I learned so much and every minute I wanna just go watch something else but he keeps blowing my mind

What electric driver is that I am looking for a small one like that.
What are some remedies for a different size problem you have a few passes on them? Just buy another set?
Over inflate the smaller one and wait. Recheck Rolll out.

How long should they stay at 12 before dropping pressure to measure rollout?
Awesome video thank you
Do they make narrower bead locks in the 5x5.5 bolt pattern the only wheels I’m finding are 5x4.5 when I look
How do you do a 15x15 double beadlock with 6" backspacing?

@@michaelfritsche4023 on beadlock bolts? N9 way. You must mean the lugnuts.
Super helpful stuff
What size tire is that good year. ?
16x36
I don’t even own a car why am I watching this
You may leave.
That’s the best comment I read today. Cracked me up. :-)
David Stevenson you will own one one day
For future reference
So... 12% to 15% crush, give or take. Nice attention to detail. Would you say 10% is bare minimum, or is that not likely to hold?

It's called test and tune. And lining out the car.

Measure the backspace from the BACK !
He did
The difference in rollout is also known as tire stagger
So you don’t run innertube’s in your tires?
Not my favorite chore but very informative. Thanks
All the Very Best
Bolt pattern is measured center to OUTSIDE on a 5-lug wheel. Center to center in all others.
No
What if when you Torque it to 20 Ft. Lbs.......you don't have your .100" with the .800" Bead Goodyear, or the .120" with the .780" Bead M/T?

Social Civilian ?
It could be use for offroad
Wow someone who actually knows how much pressure is supposed to go in a race tire
Back in the day we use to pen the tire to the rim with metal screws
Gold.
Yes.
And that is also the color of the beadlock.
Killin’ me with the car alarm.
Cool video
Nice
Lug center -Use a hose clamp adjust till inside of all holes measure hose clamp add one lug hole size of rim to get center line dimension

Great video Tim Thanks
no tubes?
Nitro tires have no tubes
Come on now your supposed to mount a 205/50 on a 16" wide rim . These guys today . Bet only a 1/4" of the bead bundle is being clamped
Idk what you say , drag wheels are sexy

If you measure between the centers of the two holes it's like a quarter inch less so it's easy to figure out what it is
