It's a bit too cold in RI where we keep our boat not ideal to do any projects just yet. Hoping to start in March. No one realizes how much work you have to do on a boat but the rewards are worth it. Great job, don’t be afraid to tie across the slip, double your bow line as needed to reach the other side. To hold your boat off the dock in a blow. Especially with an empty marina.

He just filmed the transient dock, which they generally try to keep open for visitors. The other 7-8 docks are kept pretty close to capacity. We were there two months last fall, and there was a boat waiting for us to leave so they could take our spot.
LOL about Die Hard being a Christmas movie. That's always such a debate. I personally think it IS, but it's not one I enjoy very much. Scrooged is a great one! And A Charlie Brown Christmas. :D
Next time you are in Port Aransas go eat at Fins. Get their Port A burger make sure to order the white cheese sauce on the side pour it on the burger. Its Awesome!!!!

You should mention the marinas and stuff you stay at so other local Texas cruisers can see it and know where its at.
