If you remove the ac amplifier part of it, it could end up being a decent car subwoofer. The sub itself looks to be able to take 120Wrms at 8 ohms. There should be a cheap enough car amplifier, that can put 120Wrms at 8 ohms, definitely if bridged. If not run 2 in parallel. I know that this can work, as the subwoofer that I use in my own car, is the sub from the klipcsh promedia gmx d-5.1 set. I removed the amplifier that came with it and put a new back on it. I run it with a normal car amplifier and it sounds good.
