Always rooted for NA or EU even though I am Australian I am extremely proud to say that they have not only beaten the best teams at worlds but also RNG as the 3rd seed from Europe. Europe has had the biggest growth imo. I think the top 5 from Europe could do the same things that the top two have. I cannot say the same for NA. NA needs to invest into academy more or even securing higher caliber players. If Bjergson was on TL worlds woukd be a different story. Why aren’t team willing to spend more to secure stardom at such big events? I have always supported tsm but they have fallen victim to their play style and thinking that there is only one way to win worlds. The way is to play your own play style and outplay the opponent through macro AND team play. The way to win worlds is being unpredictable. The people they have dropped like Sven, doublelift and even more have not been smart moves as a business. They have tried to mould good players to play styles they just don’t fit. And the style they want them to play just isn’t the right one. If you play text book every single game you are too predictable. Play yourself. But play as a cohesive unit. I dont know. Ive watched EVERY BIT of journalist coverage from theScore/Travis/TheShotcaller and I mean, NA and EU fans are super polite and respectful. China and western fans are super respectful to one another. I was most surprised by that. It was so great seeing all the Chinese fans cheering on the success of the west and it was great to see western fans pointing out all the crazy talent China showed.

ADC were so weak to carry the game, thats why Uzi (RNG) and KT(Deft) are not on the semifinals... the meta involves top or mid carry early to mid game with the early amount of damage they have, and let ADC scale, all ADC has to do is not lose lane or stay even and wait for team to win the map... then you scale to late game and start doing damage...
Actually Deft´s prime is long over. By far the weakest ADC in Korea atm. And UZI is nott on the Semis, because they disrespected the western teams not just once.

Gen G didn't have time to untilt and Afreeca looked extremely unprepared for C9 (despite being very prepared for their Bo5 with their run in playoffs in summer). Trackers knife being out of the game has been in place for a while and there's plenty of time to adjust to that.

Ehhh Fnatic made mistakes as well. This series is unlikely to be a 3-0 on either side. Cloud 9 has 2 major things going for them. They seemed to improve drastically after every phase of this tournament and I expect them to be even better when facing Fnatic. Another thing is that cloud 9 has shown that they can play virtually any style available in the game at a reasonable level so they aren't really pigeonholed into playing any certain way. I just think it's a little cocky and disrespectful to think the cloud 9 has no chance and if the team is they can like that it's going to be very badd for Fnatic Because if they do think like that and cloud 9 takes game one they are going to tilt really really hard.

idk why we are even talking about NA? Na got extremely lucky with c9 this year, riding on the back of 2 good EU players, barely making it out of groups. tbh i think vit should have taken their spot. im truly surprised that c9 got this far and seeing these 2 Na fanboys talk about being close to Fnc makes me cringe. Hard.

People still think C9 could win against Fnatic, because they didn't see how hilariously bad Afreeca played. Fnatic had the harder opponents and still won convincingly. Cloud 9 made huge mistakes but went unpunished. Fnatic will steamroll them for that.
Ehhh Fnatic made mistakes as well. This series is unlikely to be a 3-0 on either side. Cloud 9 has 2 major things going for them. They seemed to improve drastically after every phase of this tournament and I expect them to be even better when facing Fnatic. Another thing is that cloud 9 has shown that they can play virtually any style available in the game at a reasonable level so they aren't really pigeonholed into playing any certain way. I just think it's a little cocky and disrespectful to think the cloud 9 has no chance and if the team is they can like that it's going to be very badd for Fnatic Because if they do think like that and cloud 9 takes game one they are going to tilt really really hard.
