Hi. I love the way how you installed that diesel heater. From the video I was able to figure it how you made all the conections, I have this some one on my sailboat. The questionis where did you located the diesel tank?
Great build man, love the simplicity and functionality. Nice carpentry too. Would love to see a little more in depth on the construction aspect, like how you did the shelf over the front seats, how you attached the drawers to the van, what faucet you have, etc.
You're built a really awesome man I love what you did to it has a perfect setup give me ideas if I ever get a van and want to do that I love your idea man
Two items (I'd change) your lock box... Id move it somewhere away from the the door access. I would insulation the walls. N youve got no potty.... Otherwise, pretty sweet ride. 💜
Question did you build the cabinets and bed all by yourself or did you purchase them pre-made? if you build them yourself did you keep any of the plans of what you did or the schematics ? Nice build
The electric is very nicely done and simple. I have a question tho about these powerstation batterypacks. Are they okay to leave connected to shore power for about 3 to 4 days while using the electrics inside the van? Does it regulate the loading and unloading of the battery? Or is it more like a straight through kinda deal?
Great job! I curious how the frame structure for the solar panels was attached to the roof. Was the superstrut bolted down directly to the existing mounting screw holes (4 in total)? I am in the process of converting an exact same van right now. Thank you.
How tall are you and are you able to fully stand up inside?? I really like the transit connect and would like to use it for a camper conversion, im 5’7 for reference
As shown in the video that the positive and negative leads on the alligator clips are the input wires of the fuse block which serves as the DC power distribution centers to the rest of the camper van.
With including the cost of the van between 12-15k just depends on the van cost. But in materials and everything right about 5-6k, just be ready to invest the time!
I love it and super impressed how you maximized such a small space!
Thank you! 😊
Neat build. Reminds me of Josh Oakes' build.
Biggest inspiration on my build!
Great layout.
@@DGMAMedia turned out great, awesome job!

Your van looks great! It looks similar to Josh Oaks. He does a good job too!
Yes he does!! He was my inspiration on the way I built things!
Great build, yes, what changes? 😮
Extremely nicely done.
Thank you!
Nice build. Clean, attractive and has everything you need. Thanks ~

It was behind the passenger seat!

Thanks, I appreciate it! I'm thinking about doing a video on some of the specific builds in the future.

Me too.

Van looks great. What changes would you do?
Different electrical system, and potential finish the walls and while I was on my trip I definitely packed more than what I needed
awesome build------------------- vanlife4ever!
Absolutely Fantastic ! Thank you so much for this video.
Very nice !
Thanks so much!
Nicely done!
Thank you!
Nice setup……
Thank you!!
Nice man! 💯👌
Thanks 🔥
I love the setup. I’m looking for the same van to convert for travel.
Best of luck!
Thanks Dillion, well done. I would like to see any updates. Also start doing trip vids.
Fantastic 😊 where is your bathroom
Had to use any public restroom unfortunately but was easy to work around!
You can go to LA Fitness, it is almost everywhere across the country.
👍🏽GREAT JOB 👍🏽✌🏽
NICE ❤😊!

It charges the battery and then does a straight through ordeal.
Would you please make a video about how you installed that awning. Thanks! Great Van
Most definitely!

Nice
nice van

Nice setup only u need a roof top ❤
Maybe one day!
Do you have a lift on it? Connects are low and I go off-road. I love your setup
I don’t! But really want to do a lift and tires so if I end up doing it I’ll make a video!
Where did you install the diesel tank? If it resides inside of van, does it cause any issue of its smell, or other potential hazards?
It was inside the van, with it being summer I removed it. But I never had any smells or anything but just made sure it’s properly vented
@@DGMAMedia Thank you for the reply!
Do you do van conversions? This is a beautiful job.
Thinking of starting! But thank you!
Keep us all posted!!!
Where did you get your bed cushions?
So I bought the foam from Joann Fabrics and made the cushion covers myself!
Mastercraft lagrange indiana I used to make for rv industry 😅
Where did you buy that waste basket from?
Right on Amazon! a.co/d/503z7MO
Any problems with the transmission on the van?
None this far!
Maybe a toilet? But very cute. How tall is it inside?
A toilet would definitely be nice but I just made sure to park near places that had bathrooms!
@@DGMAMediaOne might want to take out a membership from places like LA Fitness which has locations nationwide.
What about this black rolled out curtain on the roof? Self made? Bought?
If you’re talking about the awning that was purchased off Amazon!
@@DGMAMediawould you mind sharing a link? Can you make a video of that awning some time?
What are the alligator clamps hooked up too?
As shown in the video that the positive and negative leads on the alligator clips are the input wires of the fuse block which serves as the DC power distribution centers to the rest of the camper van.
How much does it cost to run the diesel heater? And what kind did you install?
The heater tank is about 2 gallons! So filling it would cost about $6 and would last around 38 hours of constant use! But it’s a 2kw diesel heater!
How many times did you say "actually"?
How much in total cost of the built bro
Are you thinking of selling this anytime soon? Best offer I can give is $8 which I think is a pretty good deal
Perhaps 🤔 but that’s a tempting offer 👀
I have $15
Can you transport a mountain bike on this rig?
Right on the back door you can! Perhaps in the next video I’ll show how I have that rigged up!
I did see the upper and lower attachments on the right rear door, and wondered if they were for the purpose of carrying a bike or hiking gear.
@@FlyUS777 yeah it’s for my pedal bike! Next video I’ll have to show how it mounts!
How much to build my van just like it
With including the cost of the van between 12-15k just depends on the van cost. But in materials and everything right about 5-6k, just be ready to invest the time!
@@DGMAMedia thank you
No insulation?
Where do you store the bedding? Dirty clothes?
Bedding will go in the overhead bin, pillows stay out. But the dirt clothes go in a mesh basket next to the battery!
Didn't see a toilet
Don’t need a toilet! Everywhere you go will have restrooms
Mechanical reliability?Engine,gearbox,etc?
I didn’t have any problems! No burning oil and everything worked as it should!
@@DGMAMedia Unfortunately this van is famous for gearbox problems and some engine problems. All oils need to be changed often.
Nicely done!
Nice
Thanks
