- Hi guys it's finally here, I embarced on building this van in the first lockdown, relying on what I could beg, borrow and ebay/ amazon order!
It's been a long road and I'm sure I'll find plenty more ways to modify her, but for now here is my 2014 ford transit connect L2!

do you find the interior short-height cramped when campervan-ing ?

Hi m8, great van ! Think you need to pin your comment so it shows at the very Top ? Also if I buy the heater etc using one of those links do you get anything? Other TH-camrs get a cut of any sales, no idea how though but maybe that will help you if you can swing it, find the info on how to from someone else? I've converted 3 vans and also renovated a narrowboat. I'm also a trained cabinetmaker. This conversion is really good - simple yet practical and well implemented. I particularly loved the kitchen door fronts being used to support the bed when in double bed mode - very very clever.

@@TheRoadTaken I don't understand how you can say that after the numerous videos I've watched. You have designated camp sites (Many free to use) in your national parks, in Canada and the USA. Where as, in Britain, we're not allowed to camp just anywhere. And have to pay to camp overnight at a privately owned campsite...meaning we have to pay. It's only in Dartmoor and the Scottish Highlands where we are free to wild camp where we like. If I'm wrong, then I appologise and I hope you'll tell me so.

I love a banging converted £50k sprinter as much as the next guy, don't get me wrong - but this is what van life is all about if you ask me. Simple, effective, accessible comfortable adventure wagon. love it!

I would lift them up and keep the units closed then only leaving under the bed exposed. Nothing worse than going to sleep and seeing things to tidy

@@JakesJourneyMate I’m stealth car camping at the moment but once I get my motability mpv I’ll be converting it into a little camper. Got everything ready. Unfortunately I can’t afford a van or have the equipment to convert one but I love it.
Love that cupboard how the doors drop down never seen something like that what a great space saver great stuff.

On a serous note, I really like this van conversion. There are some tiny things you can add inside the cupboards to make it more tidy; but my hat’s off to you for this excellent example.
