Thank you for this great work, It's been very useful for me. But after replace the pads the caliper vibrates and make a funny noise, I repeat all the steps again and after few minutes the noise appears again, What do you think is happening? I consider to change the bolts of the caliper holder, but I'm not sure this was the problem. Any ideas, thank you in advance in any case. Your videos are the best,
how the hell do you keep you bike looking so good..? btw your vids are very helpful..evn though I didn't get a burgman yet. hopefully soon.. BRAVO man!
Congratulations, @LeDude00 you have a wonderful Burgman 650 video collection. I am in trouble to push the piston back just with the one that is in front of the parking brake, is there any special way to do it ? Does the parking brake have any effect when pushing back the piston ?
I need help with this too. It’s my first rear brake job and found that the piston with the plus sign would not push back like the other one in the caliper, but would easily screw back in using a big flat blade screwdriver. Is this procedure appropriate? I have an ‘03 650.

After spending all morning I'm convinced that the back wheel needs removing before the back caliper can come off. I've no idea why, it looks like it comes off, but it just won't no matter what I do.
Thanks for making this tutorial. I tried this process today. I have a question about the caliper shim (the small, square one). I didn't pay enough attention when I took it off, so I don't know what orientation to put it back on in. The few times I tried the shim just kept falling to the ground as I put the caliper back on the bike. Also, my insulators won't fit so I left them off. With the insulators, I can't get enough clearance between the brake pads at about the last 1/4" of re-install :(
You prolly dont give a shit but does anybody know of a way to get back into an Instagram account..? I was stupid forgot my account password. I would love any tricks you can give me.
@London Duke Thanks so much for your reply. I found the site through google and I'm in the hacking process now. Seems to take a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@LeDude00 Unfortunately I live in UK, and from Google shopping, they're all quite expensive for a tool I will maybe use twice in my life. Perhaps I'll borrow one.... thanks
has any one done this on a 2011 or newer ? the brake caliper is on the front side not the rear as in this video and for teh life of me i cant get the caliper off, The spacing between the disc and the inside of the wheel causes the caliper to get stuck. Basically not enough space to slide the caliper off the disc before it hits the wheel
Take the parking brake off and reinstall it make sure you follow tje steps in the DIY None of the videos have sound they are supplements to the full DIYs
Awesome channel you have saved me hundreds

I got it the piston works like a nut.
you can try using a c-clamp to push back the piston

Thanks, I have a 400 but this helped me. I don't have a torque wrench though, does it really matter that much? Can I not just go by feel?

Good Videos..... it's too bad there was some voice along with the video. I kinda get the impression we are watching a " mime video"
