If you compare it to acoustic guitar, youre looking for the same things, solid tone woods, good tuners, comfort etc....the price ratio is roughly 3:1, guitar to ukulele....so at $175-$200 youre getting into quality instruments that will retain some value. I'd start by looking at a Cordoba 25T.
