I absolutely love the straightforward facts on hair care and maintenance. You have helped me improve the quality of my hair. So my licensed cosmetologists fail to educate to this degree.
🤩 thanks , you’re so informative ! I do wear my hair natural, I don’t wash it often enough, but when I do always deep condition, I’m purchasing your scalp oil and plant conditioner.
Use a little of Qhemet Biologics Heavy Cream moisturizer. It actually moisturizes without causing the hair to revert because water is in it but it's not the first ingredient. It's seriously like the only product on the market of this kind. Water is not the enemy, it's all about the amount of water. There's always moisture in the air. It's all about how much.
Some say raw oils and butters are bad….which I somewhat agree. But oils are in most haircare products.. so if the product or oil has been accurately formulated, they’re amazing on the hair and scalp.
Maybe you're not doing protective styles enough. It's not that it's not growing, it's that it's not retaining length so have a look at what you're doing to your hair on a daily basis Also maybe the way you're doing your hair like if you're ripping through it and not taking your time, that can be a thing too
Hi Shell. Would blow drying hair using a nozzle attachment and round brush & using the tension method be better on the health of the hair strands than a 2 in 1 blow dryer brush tool, such as the Revlon 2 in1? Is one method less damaging than the other? Also, does ceramic or tourmaline ion technology only apply when using heat or does it also apply on cool settings? I'd appreciate your thoughts.
the only thing i disagree you said and most say don't comb/brush our hair everyday and don't spray water on our hair everyday because i think it's ok to spray water on our hair everyday because it's easy for me and some to comb/brush our hair when it's wet and also put moisturzeir everyday only using moisturzeir doesn't work for some of us that it can still be hard to comb/brush the hair if some of us don't spray no water for most of our hair for some of us that have thick hair my hair is so thick that's why i spray water on my hair when i also put on moistuzeir everyday if i don't when that can cause hair breakage i also don't comb/brush my hair when it's dry anymore because that didn't doesn't work for me either it also cause hair breakage too it's hard to comb/brush my hair if it's dry and only using moistuzeir just like most say just because it works for some people that doesn't mean it's going to work for someone else because everyone hair is difference just like most say do what works for you i love to follow my gut instcints what has work for me i'm a male i want round 70's afro hairstyle i think it's ok to spray water on hair everyday it works for some of us but yes i do agree that doesn't work for some people i think it takes time and pateince for hair to grow back some people hair grow back slow and some people hair grow back fast i think that's ok but i do agree most say our hair is like a plant that it needs water and sun everyday but i do agree we don't have to wash our hair everyday only do it sometimes it also doesn't matter to me anymore if our hair is slow or long but i do agree with the rest of your advice you said and also healthy diet and drink water everyday i do love to drink water everyday because water is my favorite drink

Everyone stress to leave your hair alone and it will grow. My problem is I leave my hair all the way alone and that's why its not growing😫. I go to the salon once every 2 years or so, no treatments and have no idea what my hair needs because I never really gave it the attention that it needs. I'm always tired. So I leave hairstyles in for 6months. But cry and complain about my hair never growing pass the nape of my neck and anything that does its split ends. Recently got a short pixie and my hair wasnt long enough for a short pixie 😢.
Oh wow… when we say leave it alone we mean don’t put a new hairstyle in every week lol. You should go to a stylist every 2-3 months for a silk press get a detox, protein treatment (if needed) and a trim. Only wear braids for 4-6 weeks, 1 or 2x per year. Wear protective styles like headband wigs, u or vpart wigs and natural hairstyles in between salon visits. Also, use the she nourished products in between salon visits. Hope this helps.
@@shelltalkshair 🥺Thank you because I have no idea what my hair needs I never sat with a hair specialist you know our kind and went on a journey to obtain healthy hair. At this point length is not my major concern its the healthiness of my hair I would like to achieve. My falls out so much. And its short from my pixie.

So happy to hear that and yes I love educating on Haircare because many people don’t do it but it’s needed❤️

How do you moisturize while in a silk press?😊
you should use a light oil, make sure you deep condition before the silk 🤍
Oil does not moisturize though.
Use an oil based moisturiser like Keracares one. Also use a heat cap or steamer with a treatment/ deep conditioner before the silk press

Shell I’d love to hear your opinion on stylists now claiming that oil is bad for your hair 👀

Do you have a shop? If so, where is the location?
Excellent video.
the 1st tip came for my life, i'm wondering why my hair is growing so slow & looks so bad when i moisturize maybe once over a few weeks 😬
She’ll great tips i always say there’s no isolated thing that grows your hair it’s a combination of a number of things which all work together
I’ve never cut length off but it won’t grow past my shoulders. All my life I’ve only cut the dead ends off, but it won’t grow!

Do you wear your hair down where there is friction from clothes on hair.
Mine used to grow but not anymore- health
@@limuru0001 I wear my hair down all the time is it bad?

@@shelltalkshair 😉 absolutely
It sounds like your hair is dry. Just because it's in braids doesn't mean neglect it. Moisturize and oil your ends daily!!!!
Love ya 😘

What do you think about hair vitamins ?
