Oh my goodness I cancelled this hotel as I decided last minute to go with Travelodge as the Hub didn’t have the sleep guarantee. I will definitely try it next time as it looks like a lovely hotel.
A well presented review .. well done ! My wife and I stayed at the Premier Inn Hub hotel at Goodge Street late in 2022. Arriving by train (from Newcastle) we initially looked at the ‘normal’ Premier Inn near Kings Cross, but as you alluded to, the area didn’t look too good. I had never heard about Hub hotels and discovered Goodge Street, probably only 5 minutes by bus from Kings Cross. The location is perfect, the hotel was clean and tidy and the staff friendly and very helpful. We would have no problems recommending it to anybody. Ok, the rooms are a wee bit small, but who cares ... we were in London for sightseeing, not for sitting in the hotel. We returned again last month for another short stay. This time we were in a room overlooking Tottenham Court Road. We were amazed to see so many buses going back and forward in the middle of the night. We never heard them, just happened to notice when awake one night. Ended up watching them for over 30 minutes. Plenty of folk walking about too in the middle of the night. £5 for all you can eat ‘Continental Breakfast’ was perfect for us too.
It looks pretty perfect especially for one person and basically all you are doing is sleeping!! The price is right!! Enjoying your content!! Thanks Kevin!!
Me and my Mrs always used Premier Inn whenever we stayed over in Glasgow . We would plan it around getting the room for 30-35 quid . Now it's not been cheaper than 120 for a very long time
There's also a Hub by Premier Inn over in West Brompton, I used that one for Go Fest. Must admit, I didn't feel comfortable walking around trying to find food etc around there. Great vid as always, didn't actually know it was a new channel for you but have subscribed and getting notifications for uploads now :)
Have used both of the Premier Inn’s near Kings Cross. Prefer the main Premier Inn but agree that the Hub is definitely an alternative when the normal Premier Inn is too expensive or sold out.
Just wanna say Kevin, you don't get the credit you deserve you're the goat and I hope to see you at comic-con this year 🐐(P.s. funnily enough as i watch this video i'm currently sat in a premier inn 😂)
The room looks neat, it's very sinilar to the APA hotel I'll stay in Tokyo both in the price range and in the room itself.... but the bed is too small for me. My feet would be sitting up on the desk
Sir, thanks for this wonderful video. I have booked Premier Inn Hotel for my entire trip in London/Sheffield for the next 2 weeks. I actually love the simplistic vibe of the HUB, but it somehow makes me feel claustrophobic in a room without window. Best regards from Singapore
I have stayed at the Hub King's Cross before-during the covid Pandemic-my 1st floor room cost me only £50 for one night with breakfast in the morning. I didn't know they had rooms 2 floors downstairs in the basement ?? But I do think Hub rooms are ideal, for the single traveller,on their own, with everything one may need-including a smart fully interactive TV in the room. The staff were wonderful helpful and friendly !!
Good video. Did you say at the beginning that at the hubs you don't get the breakfast? I stayed at the Hub by Premiere Inn Westminster Abbey just six months ago, for eight nights, and every day there was an all-you-can-eat buffet breakfast that was delicious, and had everything you could ever want to eat ..... for £7 ! And their porridge was so good too! I miss that place.
just for future refrence i dont know if you know but i believe most hotel receptions have extentions for people who need them for medical reasons like cepap machines.
@@MoreKevinChapman I think for me it came across a bit more the way Tim does his videos but I definitely liked this video more than even the premier inn plus video you did, even though I am more likely to stay in a premier inn plus room (I love them). For me, your best travel videos so far have been this one, Milton Keynes, Bletchley park and the Tenerife videos. In a similar sense, this hotel room and those locations I am less likely to want to actually visit but I just enjoy this type of content. I watched you for probably 5 years now and Tim for only a few months but I like the travel content a lot, I think Tim's sometimes edges it for me. I used to like your centreparcs (and similar places) videos the first time you visited (I think they were made in greater detail to the actual experience than your latest one, probably because it was your first visit, not a massive fan of the family vlog style bit anymore really but that is just my preferences changing), like the sponsored video I think it was and I'd love to see a more travel style (rather than vlog style) video if you ever go back to visit.
I heard you are going to minehead butlins when are you going because I would love to meet up with you and have a drink with you if you are going the same as me xxxx
I personally haven’t been to a hotel since 2014ish but I love watching these videos so I can sort of pretend and live through you
The only person in the history of hotel reviews to clarify you don’t speak to a person at any point. Thank you so much.
- From me and my anxiety
I agree I like the little modern hotels better than the old style hotels
Kev, they do double rooms too. I have stayed in a couple so they do have wider beds in those.

Premier inn near goodge street in London i stayed at recently.
Wasn't very cheap but it was near to my hospital appointments.
Still enjoying the content and liking the way the new channel is looking.

It really is!
Hey Kev, another great video and helpful. That’s a really good price for what your getting plus a bonus being so close to the train station. ❤❤❤ char
Good call! Didn’t think about how close to the station it was, but definitely walkable
Me and my Mrs always used Premier Inn whenever we stayed over in Glasgow . We would plan it around getting the room for 30-35 quid . Now it's not been cheaper than 120 for a very long time
It’s a myth that Premier Inn is cheap I’ve found hotels that are far better and cheaper per night than premier inn

Totally agree
Loving all the vlogs so far Kev!
Thanks!

I appreciate that! And I'll be at Comic Con in October!
Have booked Rose St Hub Edinburgh, larger room, a Monday night in February for £48! Fantastic😊
The room looks neat, it's very sinilar to the APA hotel I'll stay in Tokyo both in the price range and in the room itself.... but the bed is too small for me. My feet would be sitting up on the desk
Really enjoyed this review! Loving the new content keep it up!
Glad to hear it!
Never used a PI Hub before. Looks really nice!

Do they have a fridge?
Honestly, seems perfect for what it is! Anything to make staying in London slightly more affordable!

Seville is in northern Spain.
Seville is on the south coast of spain
more very southern France
Some people say Seville is in the North of Spain... Some say its in the South..... One of the 2 is right, or are they both?
@@iekue what about the Spanish Midlands?
just for future refrence i dont know if you know but i believe most hotel receptions have extentions for people who need them for medical reasons like cepap machines.
I always carry one with me anyway, I’ve been caught out a few times.
I think it's great, most of the time hotes are used as a hub, as a bed, shower and go. You don't spend time in there this is perfect
Anyone know where Seville is?
Watching from Bali,Indonesia 😊❤
I've stayed at other London Premier inn hubs before when I've had meetings in LDN for work. They're perfect if you're there overnight for work.
The rooms I've been in had in the other hubs had nice big windows with remote control blackout blinds. Not keen rooms with no windows.
Yeah, I guess you can choose when you check in whether you're underground or not. It doesn't bother me at all.
how tall are btw (asking because of the bed)
TH-cam is definitely making me more aware of these videos than it previously was on old channel
Excellent, then the experiment is working!
Kev, I promise it's safe enough to walk around Kings Cross at that time of night, but thanks for the review!
I’ve looked at these before I might have to spend a night in one for no reason
I am about to book this hotel! I fear the underground rooms
I don't know you managed to get a cheap deal. I always find it difficult to get a decent/ cheaper place to stay whenever i go to London :)
taking a lead out of walk with me Tims style lol. Good job though I think this is an improvement on your other hotel room tours.
I don’t think I did anything different really?

Is the hub wheelchair accessible ?
There’s no stairs - not sure how accessible the rooms themselves are though, the bathroom in particular was a tight squeeze.

No plans just yet. It'll happen at some point, but probably not this year.

Looks claustrophobic!
Couldn't stay without a eindow too claustrophobic.
