I was at Go Fest as well, city play Saturday morning and Sunday, Brockwell Park Sat afternoon. Weather was shocking but had a great time, back to London Saturday for Global Go Fest day 1!
I still see the odd group of people out and about playing on community days but yeah, 2016 was something else. People who weren't even into Pokemon were playing and going out for no other reason than just to play. It was like the act of walking was invented in 2016.
Another channel subscribed to wish you all the best Kev followed you for years now. I also started Pokémon go about 2 weeks ago again since the initial release due to exercise reasons and motivation. Favourite Pokémon is Snorlax
ive always loved alakazam, i remember playing pokemon silver on gameboy color and i met someone at summer vacay playing gold, that meant me beeing able to evolve kadabra to alakazam thru trading.
I did it on Sunday afternoon it was raining like mad, it was thundering and my family and me were stuck under a tree for like 30 mins.... But it was so fun i enjoyed it so much! We got a lot of merchandise so I'm really happy, I'm a massive pokemon fan! Got loads of shinys, completed all the research. I loved the pokemon bus! ❤
I was at the Go Fest in London too! It was a great, amazing time, just a shame the weather was.. not the best lmao I didn't catch any shinies at the event, however, I did end up getting the Rayquaza from the city raid event and it was a shiny so that more than made up for it
I too stopped playing for a while. There just weren’t many poke stops and gyms in my small city and it was getting ridiculous spending the gas money to drive to a bigger city just to walk around and catch pokemon. I got bored a couple months ago and downloaded it again and there is a lot more in my city now and lots of cool events.

Algorithm comment to boost new chanel. I did play Pokémon go during lockdown which kept me busy and getting exercise. Im not good with big social events though (autism =crowds, noise ect). Not quite enough of fan to put myself though it 🤣

My first video (which is coming this week!) is a mixture of screen records and stills but no decent self filming 😢! But some advice on the camera would be amazing!
I used a DJI Pocket for this video. It’s not great indoors or in low light, but for videos like this where it’s all outside and I’m moving around a lot so don’t want to be carrying anything big and bulky it’s ideal.

This isn’t meant to sound hateful, more helpful. But I think if you’re trying to build a travel audience. Maybe focus on travel content here and use the old channel or something for vids like this. I’ll watch anything as I’ve watched the vlogs for ages and enjoy your personality But I don’t think everyone who would watch travel stuff like going to cities or on holidays would click or watch pokemon stuff may get confusing for TH-cam to know who to suggest your content to again. This might do well but I just don’t see it being the same audience as most the other stuff you’re planning, if your plan is travel vids like on the old channel idk just my thoughts / feedback. Something to at least keep an eye on as you don’t want to have the same issue with multiple audiences for different niches on one channel
The plan is the same as it’s been for the last 6 months - travel videos, events, days out, conventions. Travel for nerds. I don’t expect this video to do well, and that’s fine. The key is I won’t have to see people in the comments asking for the daily vlog to come back or asking where Andy is.

Yeah, I hadn’t seen anything like this since the initial launch hype. It was certainly fun to go and immerse myself in for the weekend!
I got back into it again when I went home on vacation, because it's an easier area to play in. It's been fun completing years old side quests!!
Oh yeah, some of the ones I've got outstanding still are 3-4 years old!

It’s a DJI Pocket. Ideal for things like this where I’m very active and don’t want to carry a big camera around.
