    Can you build yourself a removable stop for the cylinder retract ? I noticed you stopping early with the control lever .

    • @ronaldcron7222
      @ronaldcron7222 ปีที่แล้ว

      Make that stopping the cylinder retract early. You keep moving along.

    I think it’s a great machine, what brand and size is the cylinder??😊
    It’s as good as any you can buy and you save a ton of money, I spent 600 on new hydraulic hoses

    Some of are splitter are mounted on truck frames a self propelled one only thing is you have room for storage after you split like ours you load the table up and split but we have a conveyer on are splitter but reminds me of are but more room for wood during splitting process still add ons to make but looks fine

    Nice job. I have the same problem with a cylinder that is over length. I am going to drill my beam and make drop in pins at 12, 14, and 16 inches. My hope is that upon returning the pusher will contact the pin and disengage the auto return cycle. Save me a ton of time trying to stop the return and wasted cylinder travel.

    Locust posts. Been a while. Used to seeing Bo Dark (Bois D'Arc) posts around here. Still standing holding wire 100 years later.

    Why does everyone put the log lift on the opposite side of the machine from the operator? Seems to me you’d want it you side so you don’t have to walk around the machine. What am I missing on the ergonomics here?

      @@Farmscrap1183 thank you so much for the info. Fwiw I didn’t think it was ‘stupid’ so I hope it wasn’t me that made you feel that way. I genuinely didn’t get it. Your way does actually make sense and I sure do appreciate taking the time to answer.

      Are lift IDs mounted same side you stand on to split but the other side is extended out to put logs on for a stockpile you get it figured out make things a lot easier on you

  • @KevinHarvey-qw5mj
    @KevinHarvey-qw5mj หลายเดือนก่อน

    Get one of those log hooks to pull them to you you will get it figured out have to get down and send you pictures of are splitters to give you a idea what im talking about
