You can pick them up for way under 6, the parts separately would be like 800ish. Its very nice stuff looks top notch. It all matches, which is hard to do. Not every gun needs to be decked out for the apocalypse. It's nice to have a bit of class in a gun. Hell build more than one. Buy more then one. Whats the big deal. If you have to go in to war, no one cares about how your gun looks when you kill them. You can always just change it out or paint it in case of war.
I just bought two one for one of my guns and one for one of my wife's guns. To those purest, easy, life will go on. Buy more then one AR like the rest of us. We intend these for shooting parties and range shooting. Buy the way, I believe anyone with a gun is going to be a target, duh! Some people's children.

Would be nice to get shorter hand gaurds. I'm building 2 pistols with 7 inch barrels.

Timber creek is terrible low quality. I know your safety is about 1/8” too long.
