It's a proven fact that our ear looses pitch. So I knew a guy that would tell me to tune my guitar to standard tuning cause we would hear EB instead of E ... Wtf... I was E. He made some testing and finally they found out that he lost the ability to hear stuff as is.

I used to sit here watching "no nonsense jazz guitar" back in the day, and it made me really work on my right hand to get the economy picking in there, among other stuff in there to dig into.
