    I don't comment on other players... Please refrain from asking me that

      Rosenwinkle doesn't like to comment about other players either. What do you think about that? (I'm kidding)

    You have invented a new mode...”scrotal”...:-)

    • @JimmyBrunoJazz
      @JimmyBrunoJazz  6 ปีที่แล้ว +19

      I use the scrotal mode over a D demolished chord

    Beautiful playing and I love the tone of the guitar! What kind of amp did you use?

    He's One of the funniest people ever. Personally, I tried picking with my balls for a while, but it just didn't give me the tone I was looking for. 😐

    Excellent advice, I'm going to work on my ear training. Oh, and I for one DEFINITELY don't need to see your balls to get the gist of what you are playing.LMFAO

    Jimmy play what you love and don't worry about the request. I want this to be a fun experience for you as well. Request means its more like work!!

      Sometimes it does seem like work but I do try to answer everything.. It makes me go on you tube or listen to the radio to find the tune

    These videos are great, Jimmy! You sound better than ever. I was up late the last couple of nights and noticed these tend to get uploaded in the wee hours. Are you a night owl or do you wake up that early?

    Don't mind the requests, Jimmy. You oughta see the kind Davie504 gets for his bass vids... play the Doors using doors... play Eminem using m&m's... and the guy actually does some. We can only be idiots on youtube because we're anonymous! Thank you for taking the time to share your wisdom and beautiful playing!

    Jimmy what did you think of Glen Campbells guitar playing

  • @088Noir
    @088Noir 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    It's a proven fact that our ear looses pitch. So I knew a guy that would tell me to tune my guitar to standard tuning cause we would hear EB instead of E ... Wtf... I was E. He made some testing and finally they found out that he lost the ability to hear stuff as is.

    Hey. I'm just some guy in Norway sitting in front of a computer screen with a guitar, but it feels like we have history to me. I used to sit here watching "no nonsense jazz guitar" back in the day, and it made me really work on my right hand to get the economy picking in there, among other stuff in there to dig into. It's great to see you're doing better. Anyway, I enjoy these videos, especially when you play through these tunes so I can jam along and steal some voicings, haha. Thanks Jimmy. Have a good one.

    Great way to start the day up here in Winnipeg Canada! Do you ever encounter wolf notes or dead spots on the Benedetto? I understand this is the inherent nature of hollow guitars..
    Thx Larry

    Great to discover your vids this morning Jimmy, I'm gonna devour them. Love your down to earth relaxed vibe, makes the whole thing so much more accessible to a guy like me. Those little pearls of wisdom you casually throw in are especially welcome.

    • @JimmyBrunoJazz
      @JimmyBrunoJazz  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's just a blues.. it is no different than any other blues. The head is the only thing different... I did a video on the jazz blues chords. They are the same for any jazz blues head

    Hi Jimmy, could you talk a bit about playing lines harmonized in 6ths?

    • @JimmyBrunoJazz
      @JimmyBrunoJazz  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It something you can do, but only a few time. It gets real boring after a while.. Anything you do, if you do it too much , it starts to suck

    My father used to tell this joke....
    He’d ask “ papa buy me a pool table”
    My grandfather replied “ balls I’ll buy you”
    So whenever I wanted something his reply was “balls I’ll buy you”
    Took me years to figure it out
