Great purchase. You're on to a winner because it's retail is about twice what you paid for it so you should be able to have your fun and still sell for a profit. 👍

The clutch and cambelt work are close to £1000 anyway, you sure pick good ones at a low price.

Very.impressive Chris, very surprised how revy that engine is!
For 1K sounds like you've got yourself a bargain!
Just noticed one for spare/repairs on e ba y with a supercharger and some other medications eg brakes, wheels etc might be worth a look!

Nice one !, thats a bargain for £1000, track car or not. Did not realise they were so cheap. Im building a Track Car myself at the min, i had hoped to have it finished ready for summer but im about 1 month behind shedule. Its a 1998 SAAB 9000 CSE 2.0t. Which i got for 650 quid. 1 Owner car from new and spotless, no rust at all. Its now totally gutted and just 1080kg. Ive tweaked it to 350bhp for now but can turn it up more if needed. The trick has been doing everything right but on a budget. Luckily like you i can do just about everything myself. Paul @ The SAAB Clinic.

@@RetroRatchet quite right .well if you change your mind its there and still has 8 month mot just needs front discs and pads . Then it would do a track day no problem . Or it better had with the amount of money thrown at the damn thing lol . I have a peaugot 308 also lol. its like brand new 50k miles but is 2008 . You wouldn't think it to drive or look at .Reason 50mpg on average . Instead of 19-21 in the mini
