We got about another season and a half with Jukebox and her character development which I am excited about cause Jukebox and Marvin are my fav characters in raising kanan.
All this made me go back to rewatch Power and she said in one of the episodes that she’s gonna go visit her dad so fingers crossed Marvin doesn’t die just maybe he goes to prison
The craziest part is kemp didn't want to kill juke character but the actress had another show you could tell it was rushed because kanan whole plot was to get revenge on ghost for sending him to jail, just for him to save tariq and then get set up again it made kanan look goofy😂😂
Yea I always looked at it like that, like kanan totally switched up the plan when everything was working perfectly😂😂, but I think thats why they allowed kanan and tariq to build a closer connection so it made more sense that he saved him

Fun fact. Anika Noni Rose (Adult Jukebox) was on the original Power. Her husband Jason Dirden played Traymont who was with Cartier on Raising Kanan. Small world. Jason was also on Greenleaf.
I was doubting it for a minute but after the last episode and after seeing that clip in the preview of Kanan with the old heads and Ronnie, it's starting to seem like Ronnie might actually be Breeze. He's clearly wants back in the game and he's been watching Kanan, having him kill Unique tells me he will be a major character. In Power Ghost talked about how Breeze wasn't a good dude, and Kanan talked about how Breeze followed the same routine everyday and loved to watch tv, all of which fits Ronnie thus far in Raising Kanan. I can easily see Ronnie becoming Kanans boss, which to me means they would probably introduce Ghost and Tommy in the next season. They both work the corner for Kanan and Breeze, and I can't really see them drawing out the Breeze storyline out longer than 3 seasons so the timing would make sense
On point! My theory as well. Including that Raq character is also still alive. When Kanan was out of prison he visited Ghost and Tommy at the penthouse and mentioned he came by the penthouse first before he sees his mom.

Eh I don’t think much would of happened between them since she still took care of him. I will say since she said she owes him I’m thinking he caught some shit to protect her but who knows. My personal opinion on the whole power universe, they rushed coming out with so many spin-offs instead of taking the time to make each one relate, make more sense and have a solid plot instead of leaving people confused.

Jukebox a major player I think assisting with the developement of Kanan and his role. Besides I enjoy a ridealong through some of the old neighborhood. Again, I appreciate Book III update.
🚨 🚨 I think I found out one hidden Character in Raising Kanan that played a real important Part In the Original Power. I started watching the OG Power over for the 3rd time and noticed similarities in one of the characters, Went back to Raising Kanan Season 3 and I’ll be damned the Older characters nickname and his younger self’s actual Name line up..This show is so well thought out, it’s crazy. 100 Likes and I’ll put you down.
I think Kanan had no choice to kill Juke because he betrayed her when him and Ghost went to rescue Tariq. She would of kill all of them if Kanan didn’t kill her first. Jukebox didn’t take disloyalty lightly…we seen that when she told Kanan told Shawn, his own son was a pawn to be sacrificed for the greater good
Uncle Marvin also changes his name and leaves NY to escape the mob. Uncle Gabe who owns the club Ghost was buying at the end of Power season 6 is actually Marvin. This is the bar him and lou bought.....

This makes 0 sense for so many reasons, 1.) tariq and Raina were twins, 2.) tasha could never stand kanan at all, he always scared her and thats why she didnt want him around not cause they slept together, 3.) Kanan didnt know about Tariq much it was jukebox plan to use ghost own son to get back at him and kill both only reason kanan didnt is because they bonded with one another, 4.) if he was his dad when jukebox told him tell the truth why he didnt say it? This makes 0 sense for so many reasons, 1.) tariq and Raina were twins, 2.) tasha could never stand kanan at all, he always scared her and thats why she didnt want him around not cause they slept together, 3.) Kanan didnt know about Tariq much it was jukebox plan to use ghost own son to get back at him and kill both only reason kanan didnt is because they bonded with one another, 4.) if he was his dad when jukebox told him tell the truth why he didnt say it? And if you say he shot her so he wouldnt have to then why would he admit to being kanan and not slim and also using him to get back at ghost and telling tariq he killed shawn. Tariq is not his son

My thing is Jukebox thought since she was more advanced than Kanan and took care of him she could get over on him by using manipulation to get what she want to control him and plus she ran her mouth too much so I understand why that led to her demise.
