Raq killing Det. Howard, Kanan’s whole daddy, in front of him was his nexus moment. It solidified the fact that his mother is a real gangsta and will do whatever it takes to protect her family. It also on the flip side sends him down a path where he kills his own son. 😢

@@morrishawkins9659 Definitely. There wouldn't have been too much of a grievance had Franklin kept his word and actually compensated Kevin's family. But, I think Kane should've been referenced and even introduced a bit earlier on. Ronnie didn't get that. I found Ronnie fascinating to be honest.
The scene with Lou finally showed Raq vulnerability. She loves her family just as much as Marvin but she has to keep up her “solid as a rock” exterior to keep herself levelheaded and focused.

I think kanan had spoken to unique beforehand, hence unique knowing where ronnie was at the end and kanan killing him. So it would make sense for unique to be breeze, and hes already started teaching kanan the game

To the streets, Nique is dead but he came back like a Ghost. I’m starting to think Nique is Breeze and James learned how to be Ghost from Breeze, which is where he got the name from.
Yeah, and Uniques age (born in 1966) is not too far off what was Breeze proposed age (born in 1971), could easily have been a 5 year margin or so. Since Unique was close to Kanans mum and in a way almost like his 'stepdad' of sorts, it does make sense that he is Breeze from a narrative standpoint. Also, Unique is a likeable and sociable person and a true playboy in his whole swagger, he is exactly the type of guy that would make young teenagers want to become drug dealers.

Even tho Howard was dirty af, he was very resourceful for Raq. He got her out a lot of jams and cleaned up a lot of sht for her. Raq is definitely gonna miss his help and intel. But she had to do it to Howard. Howard kept talking about Marvin needs to go down. She ain't doing that to her brother!! and because Howard wasn't a cop anymore, she knew if he was going down, Howard could've easily brought the entire family down and Raq knew that.

For a moment I had bought into the idea that Kanan catches his first body and meets Breeze and what he learns from this person teaches him to be the kind of man that could kill his own son and his cousin. Now I see- his mother is the person that made him who we see in Power. Raq killing his father in front of him definitely sends the message that is acceptable even his fathers last words being “You see this shit?” Then Kanan’s face! Wow. Cheers to the writers and the actors. Raising Kanan is impeccably done!
Once Kanan saw his mother kill his father in front of his face, he knew the last inch of respect 🫡 that he had for her was officially gone. He loves her but thats about it at this point.
Fun fact that not many know. In the 70’s - 80’s there was a heavy hitter in the streets of Jamaica Queens (from Jamaica) named “Unique Mecca”. 50 used both of UM’s names for two different characters in the POWER series as homage.

1. I’m really glad Lou and Parnessa survived season 3. The showrunners definitely faked me tf out when they put that suicide warning at the beginning of the episode and then later on showed us Lou wrapping that cord around his neck. Throw in him finally getting that heart to heart with Raq after telling her that she’s the person he loves the most in the world, and you had the setup for arguably the most heartbreaking death in the PU since Ray Ray killed Raina. I was relieved when they didn’t do it, but that was some real “Made You Look” shit right there 2. For all the talk we hear from Kanan about Fame not being cut out for the streets, that kid stands on business everytime he gets pressed by the cops. He tells his lies in such a way that the details that connect him to the crime seem like honest coincidences. That’s a skill lol 3. The Thomas’ may be as fucked up and toxic a family as there is in all of the PU, but one thing about them is when push comes to shove they wave that Thomas family flag. It’ll be interesting to see what actually leads to some of the eventual downfalls because everything we’ve thought could’ve been cracks in the structure hasn’t really hurt them because of this one principle that Marvin and Raq have built the foundation of their family on 4. Unique coming back after (and only AFTER) Ronnie was killed, makes sense from a symbolism/metaphor standpoint in a fantasy show like Game of Thrones. But for a show like Raising Kanan that’s supposed to be based in reality, I’m struggling with embracing it. With that said, my theory regarding Unique is that the Unique we see in season 4 is gonna be representative of a rebirth. Whether he goes by the same name moving forward (Breeze?) idk. But I believe we’re gonna get a Unique who’s a combination of him and Ronnie. Still calculating and strategic, but this time with a mix of Ronnie’s ruthlessness
Yall thought Lou was dead at the beginning of the episode didn't yall? MADE YOU LOOK!🤣 What people don't realize is that a major theme for this season is the red herring. Agent Tanner hinted at it to Howard in episode 6. The very first storyline of the season was to misdirect the FEDS with Crown Comacho. Sasha Penn and his writing team have been misdirecting the fans all season, especially with Ronnie and Unique. They had the fans looking AT Ronnie all season and AWAY from Unique. At the end, Ronnie dies and Unique lives. There's a reason why the last episode of the season was titled "Made You Look"! They're laughing at us.🤣 But here's the real question, is Unique going to become Breeze? Tune in next week for episode 11 to find out! PSYCHE!!! MADE YOU LOOK!!!🤣
Yep, as soon as I saw the title of the episode, I immediately knew Unique was coming back. I never believe he died, but people had me doubting myself for a minute
The rise of Breeze in this finale was good, but the best three finales in the Power Universe are Tariq killing dirty cop (Power, S4, E10), Ghost getting arrested by Angela (Power, S3, E10), and Sal Filsali team vs Raq team, Unique saves Raq (Raising Kanan, S2, E10).

I just wanna say this cast has been doing an incredible job representing 90s era and culture while this show is based on 90s and how authentic and realistic every scene be is just what makes it even better to watch. And ima perfectly break it down to y’all about why I felt like unique been breeze this whole entire time So remember back in og power Kanan told Tariq that breeze was strong but he wasn’t smart so with unique being breeze makes all sense to me and this I started connecting 2 and 2 together with unique being called breeze this time he will always remain strong but not smart as the other character unique was cause unique always been on his ps and qs so I feel like breeze won’t be as smart as unique was while he was smart and strong at the same time breeze won’t be smart as he’s been before but whatever happens he will always remain strong but not as smart as he’s been before especially with his code name being change
In Season 4, Unique Aka Breeze, will orchestrate the transportation of Ronnie, Howard, and the other deceased individuals to Stefano's furnace, eliminating all evidence. 😅

Finally @Moviebot I been waiting for this since 430am this morning! I said from the jump that Raq wasn't going to give up Marvin or kill Lou. I knew Nique wasn't dead! But I wonder how him being back will effect Raq when she finds out. Raq was foul for how she treated Howard from the jump. This was a powerful episode and at the end of the they all realized that Family is everything! I wonder if Crystal is Shawn's mom? Famous is the weak link and he needs to go asap. Juke is going to leave for sure now and I wonder how everything plays out for Marvin now? As i have said on everyone of these threads that Raising Kanan is the best show with top notch acting and the best storyline. I can't wait for season 4. when raq kanan and marvin left that building, there was a point of view where it look like someone was watching from inside a car and when they were going back to the car raq looked at the direction where the car was and then she said "it had to be done" to kanan for killing howard. Stefano said that a loan that large he had to put a heavy vague on it. That price could've been to kill a howard who's a fed and that's why stefano said "i hope your son knows how much you love him" because thats his father, but she needed to do it for the love of her son. I feel like stefano had a play with unique surviving and raq and marvin found out unique is alive through that conversation with stefano but they didn't show it. Maybe the one who delivered the money to raq was unique which is why he went to watch his raq did what stefano needed her to do. Word will get out ronnie dead and thats one of snaps and pops soldiers and since people think unique is dead, he will have to change his name too breeze because he on the italians side who raq marvin kanan and lou will need for the war thats coming with snaps and pops. Could be really wrong on all this, but man shitt was crazy.

Outstanding episode and way to end the season. I absolutely loved Raq and Lou’s scene together…very touching.
I cant believe Howard gone but theres was no other way around it.

Yeah, and Uniques age (born in 1966) is not too far off what was Breeze proposed age (born in 1971), could easily have been a 5 year margin or so. Since Unique was close to Kanans mum and in a way almost like his 'stepdad' of sorts, it does make sense that he is Breeze from a narrative standpoint. Also, Unique is a likeable and sociable person and a true playboy in his whole swagger, he is exactly the type of guy that would make young teenagers want to become drug dealers.

Even tho Howard was dirty af, he was very resourceful for Raq. He got her out a lot of jams and cleaned up a lot of sht for her. Raq is definitely gonna miss his help and intel. But she had to do it to Howard. Howard kept talking about Marvin needs to go down. She ain't doing that to her brother!! and because Howard wasn't a cop anymore, she knew if he was going down, Howard could've easily brought the entire family down and Raq knew that.

1. I’m really glad Lou and Parnessa survived season 3. The showrunners definitely faked me tf out when they put that suicide warning at the beginning of the episode and then later on showed us Lou wrapping that cord around his neck. Throw in him finally getting that heart to heart with Raq after telling her that she’s the person he loves the most in the world, and you had the setup for arguably the most heartbreaking death in the PU since Ray Ray killed Raina. I was relieved when they didn’t do it, but that was some real “Made You Look” shit right there
2. For all the talk we hear from Kanan about Fame not being cut out for the streets, that kid stands on business everytime he gets pressed by the cops. He tells his lies in such a way that the details that connect him to the crime seem like honest coincidences. That’s a skill lol
3. The Thomas’ may be as fucked up and toxic a family as there is in all of the PU, but one thing about them is when push comes to shove they wave that Thomas family flag. It’ll be interesting to see what actually leads to some of the eventual downfalls because everything we’ve thought could’ve been cracks in the structure hasn’t really hurt them because of this one principle that Marvin and Raq have built the foundation of their family on
4. Unique coming back after (and only AFTER) Ronnie was killed, makes sense from a symbolism/metaphor standpoint in a fantasy show like Game of Thrones. But for a show like Raising Kanan that’s supposed to be based in reality, I’m struggling with embracing it. With that said, my theory regarding Unique is that the Unique we see in season 4 is gonna be representative of a rebirth. Whether he goes by the same name moving forward (Breeze?) idk. But I believe we’re gonna get a Unique who’s a combination of him and Ronnie. Still calculating and strategic, but this time with a mix of Ronnie’s ruthlessness

Agent Tanner hinted at it to Howard in episode 6. The very first storyline of the season was to misdirect the FEDS with Crown Comacho. Sasha Penn and his writing team have been misdirecting the fans all season, especially with Ronnie and Unique. They had the fans looking AT Ronnie all season and AWAY from Unique. At the end, Ronnie dies and Unique lives. There's a reason why the last episode of the season was titled "Made You Look"! They're laughing at us.🤣 But here's the real question, is Unique going to become Breeze? Tune in next week for episode 11 to find out! PSYCHE!!! MADE YOU LOOK!!!🤣

I just wanna say this cast has been doing an incredible job representing 90s era and culture while this show is based on 90s and how authentic and realistic every scene be is just what makes it even better to watch.

But I wonder how him being back will effect Raq when she finds out. Raq was foul for how she treated Howard from the jump. This was a powerful episode and at the end of the they all realized that Family is everything! I wonder if Crystal is Shawn's mom? Famous is the weak link and he needs to go asap. when raq kanan and marvin left that building, there was a point of view where it look like someone was watching from inside a car and when they were going back to the car raq looked at the direction where the car was and then she said "it had to be done" to kanan for killing howard. Stefano said that a loan that large he had to put a heavy vague on it. That price could've been to kill a howard who's a fed and that's why stefano said "i hope your son knows how much you love him" because thats his father, but she needed to do it for the love of her son. I feel like stefano had a play with unique surviving and raq and marvin found out unique is alive through that conversation with stefano but they didn't show it. Maybe the one who delivered the money to raq was unique which is why he went to watch his raq did what stefano needed her to do. Word will get out ronnie dead and thats one of snaps and pops soldiers and since people think unique is dead, he will have to change his name too breeze because he on the italians side who raq marvin kanan and lou will need for the war thats coming with snaps and pops. Could be really wrong on all this, but man shitt was crazy.
