  • This is my DIY project I'd thought about for a long time. Overall I'm quite happy with the final result even though I'm not a professional. Just love DIY!

    Great job. Just about to attempt mine. Question. Did you leave a little bit of clearance so that the timber moveable runners didn't hit the timber cross members as it slides in and out?
    Thanks

    • @marianoooo1111
      @marianoooo1111  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks . And yes, left some clearance so the runners don't hit the cross section at the back. They stop when runner reaches its end. Hope this helps. Ta

    How long are the runners you used and what kind of screws did you use? I'll be using heavy duty 80 cm long runners that can hold 160 kg. What kind of screws would you recommend?

    foarte misto ! :) si eu cochetez la ideea asta , dar am ajuns la un mic impas , is destul de convins ca am ceva gresie cu asbestos chiar sub scari , si parca nu-mi prea vine sa o 'gadil' prea mult :)

      What i said is that u did a really good job , and this is what i'm trying to do too ! Its just that when i removed everything from under stairs ,i found some tiles that seem to be asbestos and still looking for a way of how to get around it . All the best ! :)

    Question about the bottom frame: why are the front and rear pieces retracted?

      Looking at the Runners support drawers. The shorter pieces are retracted in about 2cm. Why arent they all the way out as a frame?
