Great video! I just picked up the 4000 and I see that u put the Sedona to the test ..I wonder why the cons on the reel say that it’s not good for salt water? any special way to clean it after use?
G'Day Mate! Great video! Did you experience any sticking issues when retrieving your lures? I had to return my Sedona 2500 i had for 2 years due to this problem last month. The reel turns perfectly without load but intermittently sticks when casting with metal lures. Good thing my local Anaconda store here in Australia gave me a refund and i decided to upgrade to a Vanford 5000. Still to test that new one out though.
To be honest I have had it for more than two years now. It is a bit more scratched and battered than in the video but I am still using it without any problems. I am surprised you were able to return it after two years, I guess that shows good customer support
It only goes in one direction and as far as I am concerned that makes it a 1000 times better than a reel that has reverse that you don't need and can often fail.
this sedona not proper made at guard ring bearing....the position bearing is too far and couse of main leader drop at side of bearing when u rolling main leader not sitting the right position...
Absolutely love your channel x
Thank you Larry, it is much appreciated

Just bought one of this and I love it so much. By the way do you mind to tell what brand of rod are you using?
In this video I am using a Majorcraft triplecross EU Bass which is my favourite rod.
Mine is c3000 Fl, its month old, when i remove the spool i see some black grease or oil coming from it, its that normal?
Yes, they put grease on the spindle and sometimes the bearings.
@@FishingtailsCoUk1 thnx 👌
I have an older reel, a budget shimano 2500.. and it feels clunky and makes clicking sounds when winding in.. do you think this is a worthy upgrade?
Yes I do.
One of the best things about the Sedona is that it uses the same gearing system that is used in most of their higher budget reels
Is that with anti reverse gear?
