    Hi Billy! Great review, fabulous location! I Like these reviews, they are always helpful when deciding on new tackle, and glad to see you gave the reel 6 months of use before the review. Good plan Brother! Also glad to see that Daiwa have put a standard handle on the reel - not a fan of these Ball handles that a lot of manufacturers seem to be supplying lately, as on the other reel you had there. Thanks Bill - stay safe & well, Dave. 🎣🎣👍👍

      Thanks Trampster. I was not a fan of the ball hands, but there not so bad. But you only find them on biger more expensive reels. Fish on Brother 👍😁👌

    Perfect timing Billy! I am looking to replace my old, bit knackered, Chinese 2000 that has done me well over the years to be honest but its getting a bit squeeky and lumpy now. Just did a search for this reel and in typical fashion, can only find the 2000 and the 5000 where I am so looks like I will be nipping down to my local tackle shop and ask them to order me one in!

    • @Billyfishing_watch

      @@Billyfishing_watch Its what I searched for and cannot find a stockist here. Will go to my local tackle shop and ask them to get me one. In America, the Daiwa "Laguna" is the best reel for $50.00 usd.
    I just bought a 1000 size for light freshwater fishing....lots of fun.
    For $100 or $200 you can get better spinning reels.
    If you can spend more and get a better reel that's fine too.
    Today, in America, we have $1,000.00 spinning reels, if you hit the Lotto.

    What is the tip you use to spool braid right to the lip without having wind knots? Is it just in the way you put the line on the reel or is there more to it?

    • @Billyfishing_watch
      @Billyfishing_watch  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi bud. Dawa created the gadget for the bail arm so you can do this with the line, so yes and no, is also depends on how many guides around your rod. Where they are positions, the diameter of the line. Weather conditions also play a factor. And how the line was spooled. I have a video that will might help answer your problem. just follow the links, thanks Brother 👍😁

  • @backtohealthyactive4355
    @backtohealthyactive4355 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    You could be able to make the clicker louder.
    Just take the spring under the spool off, open it up more, so there is more tension on it and put it back.
    Very simple process, it creates more tension in the drag clicker, and makes it a bit louder.
