Thank you! I couldn't make it work on my C100+ though (came with 1.2.3, but I downloaded 1.2.5 from the site, for "C100 series" - there's no specific fw for C100+ they I could find). First, when connected to a PC, it doesn't show the SD card as an external storage - I copied the .bin by inserting the microSD+adapter directly to the PC. Then with the card in the camera, I turn the camera on but nothing happens. It turns on and works as usual, but the firmware does not update to 1.2.5. Thanks in advance for any help!

Can we use this camera remotely. Like from office of camera is at home. Thanks in anticipation brother.
I guess not sir. The WIFI connection is only for remote setup, play/record, and as a view finder for framing your shots. It must be in range with your phone. Just like a regular home WIFI connection. Thanks a lot for your comment.

Sir ask ko lang kung same lang ba procedure sa c200 pag nag update ng firmware? Ayaw kasi gumana ng external mic ko sa naka install na firmware ngayon, balak ko sana i update baka sakali ma-detect na yung mic. Salamat sir

Is there a way to do factory reset?
Yes... At the side of the SD Card slot, there's a "Reset" button. I haven't really tried it yet... Try pressing it for more than 10 seconds.

I've just noticed that after the update, there is no "vibrate" when turning it on / off
Mmm.... That's strange. Because my C100+ (after the firmware update)still vibrates once when turning it on, and twice when turning it off. I'll try to do some research on that. Thanks.
My mistake, i was not able to delete the .bin file after the update now it is working as is.

The zoom event you see is not on my camera, even though I made the last update, I wonder why?
Sir. If you are referring to the + and - icons on the screen... I've read on the forums...
"Check if you've switched on the Gyro Sensor and/or the Distortion Correction... I've noticed that these features (if switched on) are responsible for the fact the digital zoom function doesn't show up in the screen."
It will also depend on the model of your camera. From what I know, those Zoom buttons will work only if your Camera has a "Digital Zoom" function. Thank you very much for your comment and kindly keep us updated regarding this issue.
@@WhooshyRider The gyro sensor you mentioned does not exist on this camera as far as I can see, I went back to the factory settings, there is no zoom event again, and I also want to ask you, when you turn it to vertical mode and turn it off, when you turn it on again and want to record, it exits the vertical mode, then what's the point of having to use the phone again to shoot vertically on Instagram and Tiktok? you stay, do you too? Last left shooting mode does not stay in the camera's memory
@@huseyinokay8772 I'm Sorry about the "Gyro Sensor"... It should be "Anti-Shake". I really don't know how to make the "Zoom event" visible in Video (Landscape) mode. In my case (iPhone 6)… The "Zoom Event" is visible in both 'Landscape" and 'Vertical" mode.
With regards to the Camera not saving the "Vertical" mode settings when you turn it off... Yes you are right. I've tried it just now, and every time you turn on the Camera it will revert to "Landscape" mode. Maybe it's a design flaw, or they assumed that if you want to shoot vertically, you will share on Instragam and Tiktok using a phone. Thank you very much for your observations. Let's just hope that SJCAM will improve their APP.

How long should firmware update take?
The video shows the actual update duration. So from 2:00 to 2:25... 25 seconds sir. Thanks for the comment.
@@WhooshyRider when I follow the procedure, the blue light will become steady for a while. Then it will restart blinking again. It just repeats like that for a long time. I try reinserting the card, But then it wont turn on. Any recommendations what to do?
@@thetristanity Ok... When it doesn't turn on. You can try 'resetting" the camera. There's a "reset' button beside the Micro SD card slot (th-cam.com/video/v-itPCSEyEY/w-d-xo.html). If a a blue light flashes quickly for 10 seconds, then the camera turns off... That's is a "Memory Card" full indicator. But let's solve first the "doesn't turn on" problem first. Kindly keep me updated. Thanks.

Good day sir. Na double check ko na po sa settings sa APP saka sa Manual... Mukhang walang ganong setting sir. Di sya kagaya ng SJ7Star ko na pwede patayin status indicator pag nag rerecord. Maraming salamat sa comment sir.
