Good review, I know the video stability is not that good. The insta360 go still a little better with stability but the problem with insta360 go it doesn't support 4k, doesn't support long recording and doesn't work well with S10 or S20 phones for control or video editing.

Been using my c100 for more almost a year now, suddenly it is not recording nor taking pictures. There's a red blinking light if I try to record or to capture photo. Already tried a different cars and still the same. Hope you can help with this

I'm thinking about buying one maybe two of them, was wondering if you knew if you can shoot video while charging for continued use? Say if I was out on a kayak for more than 4 hours?
It can be used while charging and I have used a power bank with it, with no issues. Hope this helps!
Hi, for post processing of video do you set to MP4 or H265? Any issue with H265 as there isn't plenty of program to handle that format. Thanks.
Hello, thanks for the comment. I use h265 for all my videos and have never had an issue yet. H265 is becoming more common. I use power director for video editing and it supports h265 no problem. Viewing h265 I use vlc player. Hope this helps!

I think you may need to do a firmware update. sjcam.com/support/ Let me know if this works. I want to buy one, but I need to be able to use it without opening the app. I am researching this and it seems the firmware update will allow you to take pictures using the power button as he did in this video.
how long is the maximum duration of videos? I have read that it is 15 minutes?
If so, is there a way to configure the camera so that when one video ends automatically, it starts recording another and so on?
Thanks for the comment and the support! The maximum amount it can record depends on how long the battery will last and your sdcard can handle. It will continuously record but each files max is 15 minutes. It will automatically start a new file without missing anything in between or having interaction from the user. I did test this, but not in this video. I hope this helps! 😀

Were you in the landscape mode when you took the photos and videos?
I was holding the camera up and down. Portrait for the camera, but the video is shown in landscape. It can be changed in the settings on the app. Hope this helps!
Hopefully it has time and date stamps and I can use it as a wearable body camera to document 1hour long encounters/meetings with people.
Well, I guess this is a price & video length vs stability (c100 vs Insta360 go). For me the shaking makes me prefer the "go" but sure, not a winner one here.
You are correct when it comes to the comparison. And in some cases the shaky footage makes it unusable. It just all depends what you want to use it for. In your case the go would be a better option between the 2. I can say that Akaso is coming out with a small one soon too that supports 4k and image stabilization. Not sure on the price just yet, but we shall see and I will absolutely have one for review. Thanks for the comment and the support!
How many minutes u can record with full battery? One hour? :))
Hello. Thank you for the comment and the support. I have been getting over 2 hours recording continuously in the full 2K resolution. You can record longer if you use 1080p. Just be sure Wifi is off for best results. Hope this helps!
Can you tell me if there is any way to make it possible to shoot continuously within an hour? I know the Sjcam c100 rotates up to only 15 minutes. But can I install it to make it loop around?

Ok, so it will record as long as there is battery and sdcard space. It only can record max 15 minute files, but it continues to record after that just in a new file. If you want it to record for an hour it will, but it will break up the files in 15 minute segments, but it will record continously and doesnt miss anything between files. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the support! Unfortunately, not automatically. The closest you can do is a time lapse or burst mode. Unless they add this in a future update, it wouldn't be difficult to add a feature like that.
If i choose car mode using the app and disconnected the camera, will it retain the car mode and other settings?
Yes. The settings you change on the app are retained on the camera when disconnected. Just keep in mind without the app all you have is the function button with minimal functions.

The battery can be charged, but not changed. Unless, of course you take apart the camera and are good with that kind of stuff...and have a battery compatible. However, other than that, the battery cannot be changed. Thanks for your support! 😀

Does anyone know what the difference is between the C100 and C100+
The only real difference is that the c100+ supports up to 2K/30fps where the c100 supports up to 1080P/30fps. Hope this helps! 😀

How much GB memory card does it support?
I've used a 32gb and 64gb and had no issues. I am not sure if you it can support more or not. I tried looking it up as well and didn't find any max on any of the websites. But I can verify you can use 32gb and 64gb with no issues. I hope this helps.
