    **********************************
Dr. Sanjay Gupta, Chief Medical Correspondent at CNN, joined Dr. Staci Gruber, Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, for a discussion on medical marijuana. Gupta spoke of his experience studying the effects of medical marijuana and recounting stories of patients using the substance for its health benefits. Gupta described how his opinion has changed on the subject as a result of these encounters and the growing evidence to suggest its potential ability to treat neurological problems. Gupta and Gruber also spoke to the concern of giving medical marijuana to children and whether there are lasting negative effects of marijuana usage, both medical and recreational in adolescents under the age of sixteen.

Mmj should be a first line treatment. It's safer than all other drugs.

Interesting talk but audio levels are way too low, hard to hear some parts.

I feel that because it is such a controversial topic.. even the most impressive and confident doctors turn into mice when we start this conversation due to fear of reprisal.

@@sabrastark4782 microphones and amplifiers are powered by electricity and can be turned up.
The controversy of the topic makes them quiet?
They’re sitting in a public theatre recording in front of an audience..
I suspect they’re quiet be abuse they’re not confident in the sound guy, and rightly so when he’s muted your first sentence every time you speak.

They don't mention the magic term everyone should know..." endocannabinoid system!" That's what this whole thing is about...

Your very right!! your own body is actually built for cbd and marijuana in its natural form was high cbd low thc and humans bred the thc level up to get high not knowing a 100% natural plant put here by mother nature that can heal us all for a lifetime.

You are right 🥳 I’m in Australia and I’m still waiting for the TV to tell the humans we all have an ECS and produce endogenous cannabinoids that mimic the plant. It’s been 9 years since I stumbled across Dr Raphael Mechoulam and started to gain knowledge on the ECS. I’ve been trying to educate people.

It has helped people in the past with that. You could get lucky and find the right one first try. Sometimes different strains help different people with things. I would suggest starting with maybe delta 8 products. There are gummies and other edibles.

Of course the science doesn't show much when you're thinking of health in a reactive way. Cannabis promotes wellness and the AMA doesn't like people being well, because well people don't need treatments.
