Nice job repotting - I also need to repot 2 of my Birds of Paradise before it gets too cold to do it outside. I also have mine potted in a nursery type of pot and then I put them in a larger and heavier cover pot because they are so top heavy. Mine is growing quite slanted so I too need to correct it so it's standing straight up. They are such easy care plants except when it comes to repotting but I only have to do that every few years.
