Totally not unnecessary! I was in a very similar situation last year with a kidney infection, I couldn’t walk without help but my fever wasn’t as high as yours. I was admitted to hospital straight. Kidney infections are very very serious. I’m glad your back but I hope your taking it easy! I couldn’t stand for more than 5-10 mins for a month. After 2 months I could stand for about 30 mins 😅 hope your not experiencing the same!
Completely! I've had naysayers say I jumped the gun, so wanted to cover that opinion just in case. As far as standing, I've been lucky in that regard, less issues than you experienced. Getting tired from standing is a weird sensation!
@@SoiledPlant I guess they just don’t understand how serious it is! I fought my doctor on it, I didn’t wanna go. He straight up told me he’s seen multiple people with kidney infections way less severe than either or ours die. Sometimes they just go bad and it not worth the risk. Weirdly, I literally just saw that same doctor last night for a wisdom tooth extraction area infection
your story to some extent i agree corporate doesn't care what an employee is going through...it's very transactional in nature. I have seen few cases during peak covid time ...there is this person who is sick and losing his family but was asked to leave the company coz he is taking leaves pretty frequently but nobody cares coz of the very nature of the relationship between employer and employee. But nvm you have good relationships to take care of you you have boyfriend and family to help you get through this. Hope it shouldn't get too bad for you.
There's no reason to stay at a job for very long anymore either. Companies like to complain about turnover, but then do things like this.
@@SoiledPlant @Soiled Plant it's essentially the job description of the leadership and management to sort make road narrow and narrow every time for people down the hierarchy that makes ladder tough to climb as company matures and become size-able and that is sort of the underlying theme of running the show as they may call for leadership and higher management. It's sad it took me a long time to understand how corporate works. I hope they taught at school. but everyone is running their shop. anyway carry on the good work .see you around.
Wow that's a lot, I'm sorry you went through that. Kidney issues are very delicate stuff. I'm glad you are doing better. Yeah jobs are just jobs, they don't care about people, under capitalism is all about how much they can exploit you... But hopefully you can find a more human boss, good luck.
