You can safe you a lot of hassle if you let the place where you check your vehicle do the tax and insurance for you.
They do it for a little fee. They tell you how much is in total. You pay them and let the book with them. Get a recipe for it and you can pick up usually in 2 days.
Don't need to spend time at the DLT.

Hello, if it expired then probably u have to check with them as different cases have different penalties, also u can call them and asked them but u need someone to little speak Thai with them
