I agree. I had the original Eta black bay and the in house black bay 41. Those watches felt big and bulky so they didn’t last long. I had a hard time deciding between the blue or black 58 but I couldn’t get past the gilt bezel on the black version. I went with the blue and I honestly feel that this is a near perfect watch. You don’t have the bling or baggage that a Submariner has, you get the outstanding quality and submariner heritage design language, the size is perfect and it’s an outstanding movement. I personally like the bracelet and the fake rivets don’t bother me. I have gone down to just two watches. The 58 blue and a beautiful dress watch and I have no desire for anything else.
Beautiful watch, mine is a black version. The only thing is missing is the smiley. I’m thinking to buy a BB36 with blue face for my dad, while they are still available
I’d tend to agree. For what these go for both new and used, one would be hard-pressed to find a better overall watch. I think best is often subjective, but best overall is pretty clear cut. With that said, I still find myself wanting to upgrade to either an OP36 or DJ36.
Its probably one of the best movements out there. Absolutely amazing and Tudor also sell to Breitling for their new superocean. 70 hr power reserve COSC certified and tough as hell!
There is method to the madness - I get to keep the Original in pristine condition as I resell often and additionally the Forstner has no rivets plus the last link is an expansion link so more comfortable. Yes, the downside is it doesn't hold up and scuffs easily. Still has good weight though. Agree with you but there's the reason. Thanks for watching!
Wait is that some Bobo aftermarket bracelet that was snuck under the wire ? And 2nd only to seiko is like saying it’s as good as an Orient or a citizen? I agree that the watch is a beast but I don’t think it’s an option to dump the bracelet for one that is only $165
Sold mine... the size was good, the colour of blue if really great - but snowflake hands started to bug me after a while and lack of date became an issue.
Yeah, if you dont like snowflake hands its not for you. Only bothers me that its both Snowflake hands and round indices as the original is Snowflake with square indices. Thanks fir watching.
I'm with you on the square indices. For some reason the new. BB54 with the round seconds hand and a smaller more proportional snow flake hour hand looks much better to me.
I'm actually tired of the Mercedes hands, I was a rolex fanboy for the longest time until I saw them in person, rolex to me is the only watch that looks worse in person than in videos
Yep! I have the same watch and you nailed it! (I also have all the Forstner bracelets they are amazing as well!) Now of course, I want the new 54, LOL.
Amazing watch! (I have the black version). I recently changed the bracelet out for the Tudor Ranger one and now firmly believe this is the best diver currently on the market. If Tudor start retailing the 58 with this bracelet, that would be great!
Nice and cool Video of one of my favorit watches. I Love the bb blue, above all in the Same Setup like you show it. BB 58 + Forstner model O. Yesterday I orderd the Ranger bracelet with the t-fit clasp at my local AD (it will fit to the bb 58). Hope I do not have to wait one Year to get the bracelet :-)
As far as time just as accurate or perhaps even more accurate than Rolex. Also the retail price on this watch is now $3,950 so prices have gone up and will probably continue to do so.
It's a nice watch, but they didn't do everything right. The fake rivets seem to annoy everyone, although they don't bother me too much. What I really don't like is the clasp. The inner foldy bit is too long and doesn't match the length of the outer buckle. Also the two inner parts fold over each other instead of into each other like with other premium steel bracelets. Sure you could change out the bracelet, but you shouldn't have to. It's something that could have easily been done correctly from the start. But other than that, I have no complaints.
Tudor are ok. A little too bastardised by Rolex to be considered great. The watch is finished to an average standard and the movement is just plain ugly. An aluminium 60 click bezel on a £3k+ watch is pretty lacklustre. But apart from that, yeah I’m with you! 😂
Have you handled a Tudor bezel? There is nothing like it. So precise and satisfying. As to the movement, it’s a solid, well built, accurate modern movement. Not for show hence the enclosed case back.
Lol, you literally go to every Tudor video to troll. Mate, enjoy your IWC Mk xviii (which I also own and love) and go comment on some IWC content......
Best ever, and won't break the bank 😊. Future classic.
Couldn't agree more. Thanks for watching.
I totally agree about the Forstner bracelet. I put one on my BB pro gmt and it’s great.
@@jmichos Thats great! Affordable, comfortable....thanks for watching.
I have the black one but really like the blue - you’re right though the perfect watch
Yeah, I think the best all-around watch and best for the money! Thanks for watching.
i have black bb58 on ss bracelet and an Omega SM diver 300 blue on rubber. Love them both!
I have the black bay 58 blue and I can confirm it is the best!
Im with ya. Tudor just does right. I call it Rolex's cooler younger brother.
I have the black version on a bracelet over a month now and I love it! It fits perfectly on my skinny 18cm wrist..
It's a great watch! Thanks for watching!

Gilt on dial we as my issue as well as aged lume. Thanks for watching!
nice video man! welcome to the TH-cam watch scene!!!
Thanks for that. Appreciate it!
Totally agree with you! I have the blue one.
Great watch you cant go wrong with! Thanks for watching!
Beautiful watch, mine is a black version. The only thing is missing is the smiley. I’m thinking to buy a BB36 with blue face for my dad, while they are still available
Love the black BB58. Thanks so much for watching!
I have a BB58 blue new available…..

Some will always want the older brother. Thanks for watching.
Saw one but unsure about the movement, is it reliable and performing well? How does it compare to Japanese movements like miyota or seikos movement .
Its probably one of the best movements out there. Absolutely amazing and Tudor also sell to Breitling for their new superocean. 70 hr power reserve COSC certified and tough as hell!
Thanks for watching
I dont get how you can have that cheapo brecelet on such nice watch but respect!!

Nice watch the blue is both warm and icy cold the light make this shine.
Thanks for the review, after handling around 50 watches I ended up choosing this model for my wedding watch, absolute perfection!
Wow! Great watch all around and perfect for a wedding! Thanks for watching!
Never forget style and design is subjective.
For me its a moderately expensive watch that looks cheap.
But style is subjective.
If you put the bracelet on it from the ranger it’s 100%
I hate the faux rivets and the lack of the t fit clasp.
couldn't agree more!
What happened to the buckle???
Scratched up big time. Easy to brush out though with Scotch Pads in a few minutes. Thanks for watching.

Ugly hour hand

@@shadowsocks7472 I agree its a step forward.

Do hou mean the new Tudor? Were you able to buy it direct from Tudor?
I mean the new Ranger - Doh
That's great and heard of the Ranger switch. Nice..Thanks for watching!
Not with a Tux. Sorry, but a dress watch or better, no watch.
Great review. I'm subscribed.
Fair enough!
They do not hold their value lol. On eBay, used examples are selling around $2,500.
Welcome to my feed. I subscribe to see where you go. You're close with a few refinements.
Thanks for watching
I have a new one I’m looking to unload….
I would agree with you👍💪💥 the best!!! Of course I own one too😆😂🫵🏼
Thanks so much for watching

Yeah, heard the Ranger Bracelet is the ultimate setup but costly I imagine. Thanks for watching!
To say that the bb58 is a great watch I agree, but the best!!??
For the money - yes. Thanks for watching.
😂yup what a exaggeration huh???😂
@@erikkinginnyc😂 you're a joke!

If your talking build quality/price point Tudor blows away the competition
I'd put grand seiko ahead of them in that.
It needs the new t-fit clasp
You bet it does. Thanks so much for watching and the comment. 👍

When it’s being worn you can’t even notice the rivets. Wow big deal.
Agree with you but lots of owners have an issue or their wouldn't be these 3rd party options. Wow
Who is this hunk?

@@RabbitWatchShop No. I just know a true alpha-hunk when I see one.
@@the_shadow_realm5110 liking your own comment. Gay
I can't get over those fake ass rivets😞
It adds character to the otherwise ubiquitous, boring oyster bracelet. By the way you don’t even notice it when wearing.
WTF, not too long ago, this fool tried to convince us, "Shitko are the best watches in the world"

I live the BB58, but they do NOT hold their value! 😅 you can buy a BB58 used for circa $2,500. That's a loss of circa 35%...
You'll get even less than that if you try to sell or part trade.
Oh pleaseeee😂 cut the bs!
Owned one and sold it after 6months, didn't like the bracelet, snowflake hands, it's quite a boring watch.
Lol, you literally go to every Tudor video to troll. Mate, enjoy your IWC Mk xviii (which I also own and love) and go comment on some IWC content......
no way is the best, its too boring, and if you buy it without discount you losse 1k for sure
