Thanks for the guide! I’ve been wanting to use the Greatsword of Solitude for a bit, so the breakdown of how it worked and the damage stats was very helpful!
This guide was great! Incredibly well done and it was huge that you covered the guard attacks. I’ve never really used them but now I’m doing better than I was before utilizing it. The wave slash pierces and is great for staggering groups of enemies and getting a good amount of damage in. Suffice to say I love this weapon lol, been using it since I got it
just sprint sideways when he does the crossbow autofire. he is also pretty easy to parry on his normal attacks. just dont try to parry his jump attacks or his ash of war
Would this be better at 99 strength? I have around 80 strength and 40 dex on my current build, so I was wondering if I need to respec to get the best damage
You'd see a slight improvement to damage, but after 80 the benefit drops off quite a bit. I just tested this on my character and if you take stats out of dex and moved them into strength to get 99, you'd only see about a 2.5% improvement to attack power: 80 strength & 40 dex = 847 attack power 99 strength & 21 dex = 867 attack power
Just have to say I loved this video. I like how you gave the actual damage numbers of this build
Awesome thank you!

Awesome, glad it was helpful! Yeah I never really used guarding on weapons before this either, but it's a pretty useful tool to have
