I crawled myself out of a deep dark hole & step by step, I created a massively better version of myself. This time tho, I finally dated someone good. She’s the most amazing person and any red flags she has are minor and are things she actively works to change. But this time I’m who fucked it up and unfortunately trauma and insecurities from my past relationships was a huge factor.
It’s been 3 weeks of the break up. At first, I couldn’t sleep, eat or not think about her. In week 2, I implemented full on NC save for 2 occasions we run into each other at church and the conversations were short and cordial(basically just a hi). I still love her and want reconciliation but focusing on myself has been a game changer. The pain is less, I sleep great, I still think of her but have better urge control to stalk or reach out! Shout out Coach Adrian. Now comes the hard part of reesyablishing contact and broaching the topic of getting back somehow

The third party that being her family getting in the way and many mistakes were made as you know. You know what those mistakes were so I don't see much hope of me and her being back together again. I felt I had to make those mistakes however because I had many things to say to her. I've taken a step back and have completely halted pursuing her and I'm actively working on myself. Maybe in the near future she'll realize again that I'm a catch and want me back but for now the focus is on myself. I'm hitting the gym, advancing my career and financial success, expanding my social circle and funny enough I even started hanging out with another ex that I was dating just before her. Life has to and will move forward one way or another. Either it's her loss or me and her get back together. But I will tell you one thing, she'll have to earn me back after all of this. Either way I win at the end of the day
About a year ago we reconciled for about 6 weeks and one day she just put an end to us again. I’m not sure still what triggered it as things were going better than they had in years. What if it's been 10 years apart and it was a bad breakup that lasted a long time. I was a dumb 18 year old and didn't know what I was doing. Its been 10 years and I still have feelings for this girl. There may be a chance that I might see her in the future. Is there a chance to rekindle a relationship like this with so much time between and we've both changed
