fr it should be like Heat where all the extra spots for players should be ai racers, so the race won't feel empty at times

single player has been abandoned for years...
It would be nice. But they are a small team with limited resources and time. Online is what will keep this game alive, so I'm happy they made the decision to concentrate their efforts on that.

I was the guy who asked for both the dark horse & the gtd in a car wishlist thread on EA forums and super happy that i got both! (Granted, the gtd is just a kit in this, but thats good enough imo).
Also, looks like a fun update overall. Can't wait to try. 👍
The Dark Horse is sick. Been driving it all day. Beautiful car and the handling is fantastic.
Whilst the bugs you mention in the drag section are definitely annoying they also sound incredibly authentic. Drag in UG1 and UG2 was a total pain and often you would get weird traffic behaviours or inconsistent physics ruining your race requiring numerous retries to get the stars to align. It honestly sounds nostalgic rather than bugged.
I agree, everything he complained about is just part of the game lol, of course it wouldn't let him switch into the lane with another person in it, he was supposed to go left... And shit sometimes on a jump you lose control lol it is what it is.... Also, the collisions being on is just more realistic imo

The drift physics feel and look just like gta and the car feels like it’s on ice
The warm up is from PRO STREET, not new feature. And what for you seems strange with movment to line are exactly from underground, i play hours and are same stuff that happen (with S2000 i was able to literally fly through the bumping and at the end over the wall on the race).
Also there you have different cars that easily to cross line ,a light one; and on the other side the heavy are hard to move but on side collision with rivals are amazing to ram or defend yourself. I hope they implement the feeling of the top speed like pro street, cause go 400 km/h looks very different there, a better sensation if you ever try it.

there was no tire warm up in underground. i think thats what he meant. they based the update on underground. so wed only talk about that games mechanics

no, the answer is simpler. He has never played the older generations of games, so he is not aware of many mechanics present in other nfs. He try only a couple because of the community request.
@@secutor9854 he played the OG underground wdym. that game is way older than pro street. maybe he just skipped on pro street. i did. pro street arent the most popular NFS games.
Hopped on Steam, updated the game for 7GB, logged into an online server and the first thing I get treated with is my HUD going missing. It was never disabled in the settings, so it was a bug. Funny part was, a few hours later, I log on my computer to check NFS Unbound needing a 6GB update. What for.
Saaaame. I never got back the HUD wtf

They need to work on the speed pass . Why 3 different variations of the same car when they can be changed to challenges to unlock them . More cars can take up spots on the speed pass imo

Being 30 years old and playing the drifting pro series made me think of underground. I think they did a phenomenal job with he can get feel nostalgic. If you're swinging too fast you could spin out and that's one thing I hated about underground, but it's cool to see that they put it in unbound
Been saying this they need to implement nfs heat drifting its much more stable and you can actually run from cops after a race instead of sliding all over the place can’t even drive straight
Been playing the new update and I have to say it is awesome!!! It definitely exaggerates the meta Cars in drag so would be cool if you had to use a different car each turn. The drift is so much fun! That said in all the events I have had today there is no incentive to finish first - its actually negative as the people behind can just grind the points for 45seconds when behind. I think there needs to be a speed, placing and on the road multiplier - had so many races where other drivers haven't really run the track and just maxed out the drift angle all over the place 😂. Either way this update is amazing and shows they're listening!!! It only took 10 years!
For the drift chaining you have to commit on the counter-steer if you do initiate one. You have to stay on the green in the drift gauge, preferably.
I think the option to turn off collisions should be a thing. Too many rammers.

You can’t equip drift pro tyres to fwd cars. I know straight away people will say ‘duuuuh’! But in nfs underground the best drift car for racking up huge scores was the golf GTI. I was excited to see if that same loophole had carried over 😂
If u buy the speed pass do u get the cars and modifications in the story mode too?
they should allow you to modify playlist, like turning on or off traffic & changing time of day also adding a.i to fill in for racers to have full lobby races
They really cook with this one. All they need to do next is adding AI racers into online mode like it used to be in Heat, make it so that we can choose the mode before the race between multiplayer matchmaking, co-op with friends, or race with AI but with less money and xp, so completing challenge can be a lot easier.

I feel the overall handling in the game has changed. The Regera feels different now, like I now have to spend more time tweaking the feel of it just now
The problem about cars not steering also exists in Undergeound 2 and i noticed it especially in curves.
I keep coming back to this game occasionally and love that they're still trying, but I just can't get into the burst-NOS mechanic/strategies. Dunno. I really just wish this much after-launch support had been given to NSF Heat instead. Super glad many players keep enjoying this game tho.

Underground drag races had collision with racers so if the theme or concept of this update is Underground 2 then keep the collision
Just one opinion here, the game should have been developed longer to include this stuff. AND the limited retries killed it for me.

Actually drift pro tires are not available for all cars but most of them (idk maybe fwd cars don't have it, not sure)
Chaining in Drift Pro events: left side drift - directly in a right side drift - than left side agaian - right side again .... every turn in the other way gets you +1 chaining, if you drift twice left side you lose it

i fckin love that update, drifting is omega cool, not really hige fan of drag but will be riding that too, i am sure. idk, game feels way cooler now, way more races, waaay more, playlists, i love it all. I didnt really had enough of pvp yet and now there is that
i have a couple ideas to improve tho:
I would keep that old pvp choise, without drifting or drag, and make like different page of pvp races for them, you know, the choice of 4 type of playlists is not enogh some times i think it would be a lil bit more right.
And i wonna ask developers to fix the bug that causes HUD to dissapear

They need to sort out the wrap issue. We’ve had a few updates now and it’s not been sorted. Wraps are not saving correct, says error.

After updating the NFS Unbound Vol 7 ... My Mini Map and the Speedometer Are not visible even after i disabled and enabled them in the settings. Someone please help !!!!

how do you have a speedometer and mini-map, they don't show up on my computer for some reason. I open the game through the EA app and when I am in the multiplayer open world or career mode there is no mini map or speedometer. how did you not get the same issue?

Does any1 have the loading screen bug that whenever you are finished a race the loading screen bar fills up but you never go back to the lobby.

Question to the Dev: Car culture is a huge pivot to NFS Franchise since the very beginning. Whats' your best approach to give everyone what they want from EDM,JDM Muscle car etc throughout the games life cycle and updates. Do you already have a time line set with a list of cars coming in the year or do you listen to the community and give what they request for and make changes for each update?

Can you please add the LBWK GTR and Silva body kits to the game? :) Many other body kits have been requested from Twitter /X especially the likes of from LBWK

If you’re struggling with drag racing here’s some tips I found to help me.
1 use the bottom right gauge to shift and burn.
2 turn steering sensitivity down to decrease loss of control, also enable traction control and disable drifting.
3 don’t move until you have two. The lines change every time you move so it’s best if you pick a road and stick to it until traffic comes. 4 choose cars with highest gearing possible if you get perfect shifts every time you can grind out 1 or 2 full burst nos shots.
Hope this helps trigger naught wanna make a video on this if it helps people. But above all have fun out there!

Its missing 2 things... over reving your motor causing it to blow, and the motion blur. The drag races seem to long too.

@@marcusking6007 i mean i get why they did it. Small team and all and mp is what keeping the game alive but i was pissed off after i join in seeing i cant do drags offline nor i can do new style of drift events offline.
Not to mention the no hud bug going on like fuck sakes i can live without map but i need info like time and distance between myself and opponent along with score between me and my opponents especially with drift events and linkups. Like cant excuse them for not testing this update before launch to make sure there isn't a major bug like that

honestly collisions should be off in drag racing. i was winning a lot and one of the clowns decided to start ramming me. in this mode you cannot afford mistakes. not 1. i agree the lane switching is wompy and also the shifting mechaninc needs work. sometimes i hit the bar perfectly and it doesnt give me perfect shifts. that cost me some races too and its frustrating, i think ill skip drag racing for now.

I missed the Audi RS6 from the previous update. The only recovery packs I see inside the store are for volumes 3,4 and 5. Is there any way to get it? How long does it take for it to be released?
If you’re on steam it takes 12-24h to see it. You can purchase it directly from the Unbound website. Make sure your EA account is logged in.

I agree the pass to this game and especially to this update which they did really well with isnt really all the much and you get a lil extra and it helps supports what they're doing. It's only $14.99CDN, but with game pass discount it drops to $13.49. However for myself i earned a $10 discount on points that i accumulated over time and it droped it to $5.10CDN including the taxes. Thats not bad for what we got.

You cant slap the drift tires on front wheel drive cars. Which made me fucking sad that I couldn't drift my R34 golf or my Civic. I've had that Civic IRL. You can drift it.

I miss leaderboards for every event, race and objective. As i understand, there is still zero leaderboards. in a racing game...
