Does Shawn Michaels owe Bret Hart an apology for this? Let us know in the comments.
He already has. This screwjob crap is well over. It's not a big thing anymore. Bret even hates people bringing it up. He got his apology and he got too beat Vince up. It's over. Done and buried. Move on. NEXT

No lol an eye for an eye
Yea he does imo. Shawn Michaels was unprofessional and wasnt careful or even considerate. Shawn Michawls is a fucking narcissistic pig who was all about the politics and holding people back. I find the worst wrestling fans are fans of the kliq, i find everyone associated with the kliq or fans of the kliq to be toxic and they want to be some arm chair wannabe narcissist because thats who they idolize.
Absolutely not. Bret crossed the line plenty of times.
bret dodged a speeding car with sunny 😂
Yeah, literally and figuratively
He was never trying to bone her. She even said that. Sunny was boning Shawn and Davey Boy.
Shawn dodged a bullet not staying with sunny
He dodged a bullet…and some knives…and a bunch of stds
Everyone that ever pumped Sunny were actually right to dump her, otherwise they would've been in that car with her.
If you watch the promo, look at Brian Pillman's reaction when HBK made the "Sunny Days" comment. Pillman was the only one that caught what HBK meant & had a WTF? look on his face
Bret knew what he meant too.
Bulldog had a guilty look on his face because he was the one who slept with Sunny.
Bill man was a genius - too bad he was sacrificed for Austin’s push
@@brettmajors69karaokeyeah that cocaine and ankle injury never played a role
@@violentbryan21 Yep, love Pillman but his ankle was toast at that point. He physically couldn’t be “Flyin Brian” anymore. I’m sure he sampled some of the “gimmicks” as well, but he wasn’t any worse than most of the roster at that point.
97 was best year in wrestling history. Bret being heel/face depending on the arena, HBK starting DX, Undertaker and Kane, Austin becoming a mega star, Rock becoming a star as well. 97 wwf had it all

What sucks is that we never got to see the HBK vs Bret feud play out like it was planned. Watching both guys work a long program together in their prime would have been amazing!! The multiple matches & story could have been the best feud of the decade. Unfortunately they worked themselves into a shoot, and it never happened.
@@josephfoster473they had good matches for sure and The Iron Man match, as far as the wrestling, was impossible to top. It was so good that whiny internet people have since called it overrated. No way. Definitely an alltime great match. The feud and everything could have been ended differently yes. They should have had something as big as WM 5 between Hogan and Savage.
I was never a fan of Shawn Michaels. He was athletic and flamboyant, sure, and women liked him, but if he hadn't gotten injured and taken himself out of the game until after the War ended, Stone Cold and The Rock don't become huge stars and who knows how things play out? Shawn had some great matches with Razor, Bret and Undertaker, but he was way overhyped and the things he did got himself hooked on painkillers and led to a serious back injury that almost ended his career permanently. He wasn't a big draw. Again, when he was champion, WCW was destroyed WWF. And he was a nightmare to deal with - according to people who worked with Hulk Hogan. That should tell you something right there. I'll admit, as a kid, I liked some of his heel work before he got injured because I was the right age and liked all that smart-ass, angsty teenage stuff, but as an adult, it doesn't do much for me. When you go back and watch the Wars over, there's a lot of barely watchable garbage on both sides. WWF once Austin got going had some great television in the main event picture, but there was a lot of garbage, and while we remember the good stuff DX did like showing up to Nitro, they weren't immune from bad TV. Paul Levesque was another guy I didn't like, but preferred as a heel. Bret, by contrast, made other people look good in the ring. Shawn made himself look good.
@@christhornycroft3686 yeah Shawn was "over hyped" by guys like Bret, Taker, Austin, Jericho, Triple H, Flair, Jim Cornette, Jim Ross, Nash.

Considering Bret was open and honest about his own cheating history…..I’m kinda inclined to believe him when he says he didn’t screw with her…….i guess even he had more standards than that 😂.
Agreed. I think that in a weird way, Bret had an honor code regarding where to get his rats. He stayed away from coworkers and coworkers’ wives.
He wasn't open and honest about his cheating history at the time, though. He could well have agreed with sunny to never admit to it after it got so public.
@@lfcstevieg2020
Sunny would never agree to that. She was a clout chasing demon and even more so when she got older. She loves naming names. She didnt care if the men were married or would be embarrassed. Shawn started that rumor because she was close with Brets kids and he got jealous. Bret was a "dont piss where you eat" kind of cheater.
According to Sunny in shoot interviews, so take it with a grain of salt, it was actually Davey Boy who was having the Sunny days at the time of the promo and not Bret.
It was Shawn Michaels who was having Sunny Days. Bret and Sunny were never intimate.
@@Electric-bm7bf it was Bulldog. Shawn blamed Bret when it was Bulldog who slept with her while he was married.
Tammy probably messed around with several dudes, including Shawn and Bulldog.
She banged Shawn too 😂
Yeah, everyone involved has said since, including Sunny who's not shy about spilling tea, she never had anything with Brett. She was basically cheating on Candido with Shawn, and sub-cheating on Shawn with Davey Boy, and Shawn got wind of it, but, as the way rumors go (not to mentioned being pilled up), heard it wrong and got the wrong member of the Hart Foundation. Thus we get a guy who was cheating on his wife a lot (Brett), just not with Sunny, unjustly accused of one affair, months later getting in a childish dustup, ripping out a chunk of hair which apparently is in the possession of Jim Cornette's ex-wife.
Ain't the rasslin' business something.

Bret always tries to make himself out like he's the victim. Even in this segment, he says he wasn't attacking Shawn Hickenbottom, but Shawn Michaels the wrestler, that Shawn was wrong because he said something that referenced Bret's real life. So Bret says that bs even though he attacked Shawn with something that Shawn did in real life, would affect his life, too. Double standards
It was well known to the audience Shawn was in playgirl. Everyone knew. Believe wef even advertised it, he used the belt in the photo shoot. He also asked Shawn if he could. Shawn didn’t say Im gonna go out and allude that you r having sex with Sunny. Everytime Shawn insulted Bret it was always something inside that fans wouldn’t totally get like markman.
There was no storyline or ever any mention of Bret and Sunny at all on WWF tv.

I agree; it definitely WAS a soap opera. I remember saying to my friend, "Why should we watch 'General Hospital' when the wrestlers are providing us with soap operas?" Yeah, I loved them and they provided great matches. Today there's more soap opera than there is wrestling. Maybe the difference is that back then, life imitated art in ludicrous ways.
For a guy who claims to have not only forgiven, but gets ALONG well with Shawn now, Bret sure does seem to get a lot of joy retelling these old stories anytime he got one over on Shawn. Not just that he's telling them (he was asked) but the WAY he tells them. He still takes digs, smirks about certain things, likes talking about how he can kick Shawn's ass, etc.
He also gave a very different reason for still talking when they went off the air. Here, he says he couldn't hear his cue. @JonySmith-bb4gx He's wrong because he took personal offense to a script faked show. It doesn't matter if it caused Bret problems in his home life. He tells his wife and family that it's part of the show and it's fake. It ends there. If people want to be mark's for the business let it be.
He only attacked Shawn because he didn't like him and now he can make up an excuse saying HBK hurt his family. He's wrong. No other way around it. In the beginning he was saying how HBK was getting offended by Brets promos. Why do you think he said that? Because he wanted to make it look like he wasn't the only 1 being offended and taking it like a bitch.
@@bane3991thank you, these Bret marks love to act like he was always this innocent sweet angel who could do no wrong, whenever people state harsh facts about bret. They can't rebuttal anything
Bret needs to move on. I wish he stopped doing interviews disparaging HBK after they squashed the beef in 2010 on RAW. HBK has been respectful to Bret since
Bret Hart is lying about ☀️ Sunny, Brett had an affair with Sunny, he was pissed Shawn exposed him on world wide t.v. I wonder if 😂 he had to sleep 😴 the 🛋️, because the wife was pissed off
Bret is an imperfect person but, god, do I love this man. Have since I was 12. He just is magical to me when he speaks.
“It’s still real” to Bret
One thing no one can argue about Bret is he loved the business and till his dying day
@@bretth4988this comment made me think he was dead
Doesn't matter what anybody says at least Brett took everything to heart and he actually did what he was supposed to do and do you guys know that he was the only wrestler that only took off 2 days of work in the 14 years he was working there. So of course he's pissed off I mean any company if you're working for someone and they treat you like that of course you'd be mad. He busted his ass for that business more than anybody else. And they should have at least gave him what he wanted not let him lose before leaving but then again you know everything happens for a reason. But I'm surprised he still does stuff with them after what happened to Owen and all the crap that happened to him.
The guy made it personal then cried when HBK threw personal back at him.
Source trust me bro
@@JonySmith-bb4gxSource: Calgary Sun and Monday night Raw(1997). Back to the circus🤡
But here's the thing, Bret at least went to Shawn first and said "Do you mind if I talk about this?" And Shawn even okayed it. Shawn didn't even ask Bret about "Sunny days".
@@marcpower4167 we dont know if he really asked that or not. hes a huge storyteller lol.
Shawn gave permission first, c mon
Bret is the worst. Total egomaniac who actually thinks wins and losses are real.
I always like Brett but it seems like it's still a little too personal after all these years. Let bygones be bygones...
When someone screws you out of money you tend to take it personal.
Everyone of these conflicts have to do with jockeying for position on the card which means more money.
It’s funny how still to this day nothing is ever Bret’s fault. It’s always everyone else.
In this case Bret is to blame. WWE is fake and he got sensitive over a promo. He was just making fun of HBK being sensitive too. He had to make that clear before he said he attacked HBK for hurting his feelings during a promo. Trying to make it look even when in fact he was the 1 upset, not HBK. He can be a cry baby bitch sometimes.
It's funny how this guy has so many haters even though he doesn't even know they even exist.
Not true actually
He literally said it was his fault Super kick haven't made air on Raw
In prison then now and forever
This man is just so full of salt.
Bret’s in my top 5 wrestlers but he be thinking too highly of himself. Everyone did him wrong blah blah. He just sounding like an old bitter Canadian to be honest
Was Bret the only wrestler that sunny did NOT sleep with during those days …?😂
It doesn't matter how many Bret hart interviews i listen to he always seems to want to fight someone for real... maybe you need to look back despite the reasons and look at yourself.
“If you run into an asshole in the morning, you ran into an asshole. If you run into assholes all day, you're the asshole.”
Mate you don’t get to give advice to Bret Hart. He gives advice to you.
@@kingstarscream320 you don't just go around hitting people because you are "Bret Hart"
Damn, even Bret Hart has a Stu Hart impression!!
Ehhhhhhhh
It’s a requirement to be in the business. You have to be able to do impersonations of at least one of the following: Vince, Terry Funk, Stu Hart, Steve Austin, Jim Cornette or Jim Ross.
@@zlinedavid You forgot Jim Barnett, my boy.
I figured Bret would pick one of the others - not his own dad.
@@ryanvannice7878 Looooook at all my beautiful starrrrrrs.
Some kind of whurre
It was a lifetime ago... doesn't really matter now
I'll give Bret credit, the man owns up to his own failures and wrong choices in life, especially in cheating on his wife at the time. It's because he's so honest that I believe him when he says he didn't sleep with Sunny. I trust Bret in what he says, knowing that he is telling the truth, even if it is from a point of view.
That said, Bret is a bit polarizing due to how he keeps bringing up the past and having real dislike towards Shawn, despite that the two made peace and had forgiven each other. Even the Goldberg incident that caused Bret to retire, I get it and understand the anger about it, but time to move on. Maybe the bitterness is coming from the fact that he keeps being asked these questions and he does them to make some money on the side, which makes me wonder how one needs money after the millions made, but it's been close to 3 decades now since all of this stuff happened. Let the past remain as it is and move on.
Bret admits his faults like a new hire on a job application.
“My biggest fault? I think sometimes I work too hard…”
@mikemck4796 He is like that. And he definitely takes himself too seriously, including his own legend. But there’s something about him that feels truly genuine and just true. I would argue that Undertaker, Edge, and Chris Jericho are far more humble, but I still view Bret Hart as someone who is truthful.
@@tjjordan4207 Sure. I think Bret says what he believes to be true. So he seems genuine.
But to continue my prior analogy. I had a friend who genuinely thought he didn’t get a promotion because he was too good of a worker at his current position. I can promise you my friend was incorrect.
You can easily be genuine and dead wrong.
@@mikemck4796 No arguments about Bret arrogantly believing himself to be the best worker. There's no denying that he was very good, definitely among the best, but to say he was the best, nah.
Personally, I think that this is a situation where no side was right. Bret should have known better than ask for so much from a company that was struggling and expect them to keep paying him so much, Vince should have never made the deal or do the screwjob, and Shawn should have just kept his mouth shut. The way how I see it, Bret should have taken the deal with WCW from the very beginning if he wanted a deal that was over the million-dollar line and sustainable.
It’s nice that Bret is openly admitting to being gay.
How so?
Insane all these years later he still tries his hardest to bury him. He lingered on the pilled out thing for like 5 mins. We get it man. No need to go in depth and describe it like you’re giving testimony at a trial. Nerd
It was a passing comment
He mentioned it once and if anything it's actually being charitable to Shawn by explaining he wasn't fully himself in those days but has a handle on all of it now
This makes me really believe Brett Hart was gorilla boffing Sunny along with Michaels and whoever else was top card at the time.
