Another school takeover... COMPLETE! Big shout out to Boomer, Carlos, Kevin and everyone over at YDC for showing me around! Here is the website if you want to know more about the design college or Japanese language school: www.jpn.ydc.ac.jp/eng
@ Yh Ive been studying Japanese for the past year and a half, it’s just I need to finish my uni degree first then I’m able to start finding a job there 😄
oh my god, I thought the school building looked familiar!! I had to check the info of the video. This is my old school! I went to japanese language course for 1 year in 2017-2018 at Yokohama design college. I took the manga course, and some design course where we had to paint porcelain bowls. I also tried voice acting for 1 day or something, it was fun :) Edit: Oh my god... its so nice to see the school and the teachers again.. ;; Sakuma-sensei was our class's main teacher. She was so sweet
@@farahm7801 tbh I cant really remember, I saved the first half year by myself. The next half I had to borrow because everything was much more expensive than I had calculated :( Anyway around 400.000 yen for half a year. That's without expenses like food etc. And they also charge you for the bedding in the dorm. It was around 9000 yen. Such things came unexpected for me >< There's a link here: www.jpn.ydc.ac.jp/eng/jpncourse/applicant_c
Props to both the teacher and students in that Anime Voice Acting class for all their positive attitudes and efforts 👍🏽. As a visual learner I often watch how native speakers form their mouths when saying phrases as much as I am listening to what is being said. Also, facial cues are very helpful to me. So, having to learn how to imitate sounds of varying dialects and be anime level expressive while wearing a mask would be difficult for me 😥. Glad to see everyone is taking safety precautions however. I hope everyones' lessons continue to go well 🙂.
This is incredible! Who knew there’s a beginner class view of Anime voice acting! I’ve been curious on the pitch & tones of voice actors voices. The “uhh” & tongue twisters you guys did made me thought of choir back in University
The Kansai-ben course sounds really intriguing. I've always wondered how different it actually was from the Tokyo area's Japanese. I just thought they used different words. I had no idea there was intonation changes, too.
hey this is really cool. i didn't know voice acting school in japan was anything like this. i took acting classes but i wanted to try voice acting too. but i also have terrible stage fright so i kind of gave up on all of it.....well i guess in this case "microphone fright". lol
I recently started learning Japanese and I just wanted to say thank you. Your channel has been very informative. I have made it my goal to apply for the jet program in 2 years once I have a better grasp of the language. I will pay better attention to the matter of alerts. I have watched multiple of your videos so recommendations do appear on my daily feed. However, I do not recall TH-cam alerting me when the new one released.
i love all your videos so darn much. thank you so much for always making excellent and intimate content. your videos really feel like a very comfy hug and a calming experience.
This reminds me of my study abroad and got hit with a lot of nostalgia, not good or bad, from the walls, the tables and chairs, to the projector. 😩 and screw people who look down on anime as a tool for learning, it really helps me!!
Ahh this was so cool! Thanks for sharing! I wish schools here in the US would have more opportunities like this available. I know colleges tend to offer a little more, but stuff like this could be a lot of fun and really educational in high school as well. Just imagine if we brought back home ec classes again. ;;

I have a question... those classes helps you to entener in the seiyuu industry or it's just a class for foreigners to have an excuse to learn japanese? Like: they give you a real opportunity to have a job or it's just for fun?
