How did you thread it all the way in? My threads stopped like 1/4 way in and even my wrenches were no longer able to turn the bump stops because of so much resistance.
@@Socaloverlander Indeed. I love the sumosprings bumpstops. You just need to sumo to shorten the bolts reasonably so that non-lifted 4runners can install them. You can't leverage a lower control arm enough unless you're standing on a 2x4 and weigh 200lbs. It's just too difficult. All the videos online are lifted 4Runners. So that extra clearance makes it easy. Sumo, please shorten the bolts to begin with. Your products are fantastic. Just need a tweak.

I did it by hand all the way in . You were probably stripping it
For a 1999 2WD what type of sumosprings are recommended? (Front and rear)
Not easy unless you’re lifted already. You’ll need to loosen up the suspension to make room to slide the bolt in straight so you don’t cross thread.
