Powerful quote “a bird doesn’t have the child before it prepares a nest.” Very true. There are many with no guidance or role model to guide them for this. Christ prepares a home before we enter heaven, he prepared himself for the cross before we may have penance, he prepared a plan before the world was made. We need to teach responsibility and consequences.

Just saw the end, that was my idea, make the petty crime criminals into tradesmen, carpenters, etc. they should move cities never to return their old neighborhood to avoid the crowd that brought them down too.

I like Rogers idea of Prison Reform. When I did my prison time I spent every day working on myself. Spiritually, Mentally, Physically. Studying, Working out and figuring out who I was, and where I wanted to go. I refused to allow the state to take this time from me, and instead used it to work on myself.

Yes Biggie did say never get high on your own supply, but that was 1997. It was stated in movie Scarface in 1982.

What Roger said about prison reform sounds spot on. If we want prisoners to be productive citizens, we need to give them the tools to do it (instead of the revolving door “for profit” system we have now). Excellent podcast!

I disagree. Roger had all kinds of different trades and made a decent living, BUT he decided to go full time smuggling drugs, and it didn't keep him out of jail or prison. Roger himself returned many times, so it didn't work.

Slavery is free and evil and still exists read the 13th and 14th amendment it’s only a paragraph!! He says that slavery is still legal so long as one person is duly convicted of a crime, which means you’re convicted of a crime slavery still legal literally as well as what constitutes a crime. What’s the definition that’s what’s also changed number one number two is the way they convict you by a jury is only, needing most of the people to say guilty and your convicted even if a few people or a couple people say not guilty they can still convict you. It is the most observed thing states if one person says not guilty you should be let off and not be tried again let alone be convicted , so they’ve added all that BS to the constitution 1865 that is pure. I don’t like to say Tierney because I know the world’s dangerous but a lot of stuff revolves around if you owe the government a few dollars they can take you to jail because you know, can’t pay ticket or , etc. etc. Driving license suspended, or being short on health care money so someone can’t get a prescription they need and you go to jail it’s all about money to much , you pay a doctor 150$ and you get a prescription card for marijuana, every 7 months in Florida or else you go to jail still over a 2$ worth of green yes 2$ dollars two dollars , and A lot of law still plants frames people for small stuff to go up in rank and no one believes people but I know because I’ve been framed from tiny stuff too , and officers been caught on camera doing it 50times recently a private Eye caught an officer dropping stuff in people cars finally gottem on camera thank GOD!!! !!! Look it up on YOUTUbE
God watches over his people karma got him !! But anyway free Labor is still in affect literally Legal slavery , and even prescription concentrate ThC or orals is a Felony in Florida if prescription isn’t up to date , or 2nd degree felony for 3grams three grams of concentrate THC Even tho it’s in your family’s name
In the bottle they’ll dump it out and put it in something else and claim no name was on it !!! This happens and happens more than y’all think on my nieces life
For example , crooked But I just Pray for em that’s all you can do , Also planted other felony street drugs or meds on people on camera look it up on you tube look hard officer recently 👮 got caught like 50times doing it to people saw em one time and BOom that’s all it took to go back and look several times and kept catching him more and more , Yall stay safe and off the roads as much as possible tyranny and stay away from people they’re trouble don’t go out at night especially!!

    Roger what a great man

Great podcast. The two men asking Roger questions was spot on as I am trying to understand why he would do it. Roger says prisoners should learn a trade, BUT Roger had different trades. Pilot, fireman, sold antiques, and etc. All those trades didn't keep Roger from smuggling cocaine, and returning to prison numerous times. Why? It didn't keep him from going back. Roger had a lot of different trades that other prisoners don't have, but it didn't work with Roger, now did it? I noticed the two men were trying to understand the same thing that I was trying to understand. Roger acts like smuggling cocaine is okay, and making millions is what mattered to him. The LOVE of money is the root of all evil. Roger talks like he is a nice christian family man, thinks he is a great parent, and never taking responsibility that he smuggled drugs that could hurt families, parents, or other children that destroys others lives. The story of the lion eating the baby didn't seem to phase Roger. To me it is strange, and something is way off about him. I do hope he has changed his life around, and helps others understand it's not ok to do that kind of work no matter how good the money is for doing it. Yes his story is facinating, but it was wrong what he did, and he is asked 3 times, but he skirted around it. I do hope Roger has changed his ways, and I do wish him well.
