We are very sad that Maestro Kapustin passed away a few days ago. His legacy of fantastic music lives on in recordings like this one!
I dont mean to be off topic but does any of you know a trick to get back into an Instagram account..?
I somehow forgot my account password. I would appreciate any tricks you can give me
@Cassius Kamdyn instablaster ;)
@Nicolas Torin Thanks for your reply. I got to the site through google and I'm in the hacking process atm.
Takes quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
@Nicolas Torin it did the trick and I now got access to my account again. I am so happy:D
Thank you so much, you saved my ass !
@Cassius Kamdyn no problem :D
Wow. I didn't feel like practicing today, but after watching that video, I immediately sat down and got to work. Thank you for the inspiration.
my fingers fell off :( guess they can't handle the torture
Wow. I didn't feel like practicing today, but after watching that video, I immediately gave up learning the piano. Thank you for the inspiration.
The first thought that it’s unreal, the second you think it’s not human but robot with great technique skills. Fantastic performance 👏👏👏
I've seen hands move like this before: mine whenever I see that someone on the internet is wrong.
LOL
This is the sort of music and playing that transports me to a different world. Just wonderful.
It's the best kapustin etude no.3 performance I've ever heard. After watching this video, I've decided to go to Masleev's recital in May🇰🇷. :))
One can only wish for this accuracy, speed and clarity in piano technique.... Just utter amazing finger work!
There is a whole generation of players who regard this piece as an obstacle course to be cleared as quickly as possible. Under all this flash showing off speed there is a fine piece of music. These people do their best to obscure it.
Generation? This piece came out 2 decades ago. It’s been ONE generation
Keep it to yourself, loser.
As the subject of a videogame boss, it's fantastic
Jaw droppingly wonderful and fun to watch as well.
I love this Etude so much! Is very beautiful, besides being an exciting piece, and very lovely too!!
Thanks for that Kapustin, wherever you are now!!!
Awesome!! Really sublime! I can't believe; you're incredible.
Thank you for share with us your talent.
Excellent performance of a Kaputsin masterpiece that needs to be heard more often.
Thanks to you we can have the good fingerings 😛 on the whole piece
Hi Dmitry, I am working on this Etude. My goal is to get it to 120 on the metronome and could not believe your tempo. Amazing performance! Congratulations on winning first prize at the XV International Tchaikovsky Piano Competition!
Once I got to 100 I told my teacher that for once the suggested tempo wasn’t so far out of reach. She then pointed out that I was actually only doing quavers. That was a painful moment. Fabulous piece though and a joy to learn. Dmitri thank you, I’ve watched this so many times - always in awe.
The best interpretation. Love it !
Geez, that Yamaha is so darn bright.
In a good or in a bad way?
@@Zdrange03 Think of it as the opposite to a warm or muddy sound. A bright sound is usally associated with very clear treble tones which allows you to hear a ton of detail - like all the individual notes between a roll or where to localize the sound from. I think it works well for a staccato piece like this.
@@Zonno5 I'm sorry but this is what an unmaintained piano sounds like. The *extremely harsh and tinny sound* is caused by the hammer felts being used up to the point of substantial compression and deformation. Nice technique in playing, but don't kid yourself with regard to the piano's sound.
Unbelievable performance
Just incredible
So cool 👏👏👏 💛🎶

love the angel of the camera, after watching this video make me want to practice
It's POV!
So you might hate the daemon...
Really enjoyed this : )
Magnificent
Holy sh*t so frenetic
Awesome :)
Flawless playing! There's speed along with precision, a crazy combination to pull off.
not true. the player falls out of the metrum several times. he really should have played it slower instead of abusing that beautiful piece to show-off. which didn´t work out in the end. at least for critical listeners.
bravoooooooo!!!
You inspired me to learn this song myself
Absolutely fucking incredible!!!
Just perfect
holy shit this is beautiful
Bravissimo
Great
