    I'm new to the whole stamping thing, so this video had some great tips. I never would've thought about magnets breaking, so I love the washi tip!

    Sadly this will be my last comparison review, after being accused of treating one product unfairly for only sharing my opinion, I will no longer be doing them. It is unfair to treat a creator, who worked hard and spent her own personal money buying products to test (you do realize, I too have to buy them), rudely. I do not have time for peoples rudeness. You may not always agree with my opinion and I may not agree with yours. Instead of tearing people down, we should be supporting and helping others rise up! I appreciate all the positive members who watch my channel to learn about new products and techniques. I love sharing with you, but if I am going to get negativity, then no more reviews just techniques!

      Monkey’s Paper Palooza Please don’t let ignorant people stop you from stating your opinion. This is your channel, and you can like or dislike (or anything in between) whatever you want without needing to defend yourself. I like comparison videos because they help me when I’m making decisions about which products to purchase. Please keep doing them, and ignore the haters. Trust me, if it’s not about this, they’ll find another reason to complain. You can’t get away from the haters, but you can rise above them and stay true to what you want to do as a TH-camr. God bless!

       tiercej don't worry I will still be doing product demos just not comparison reviews, because it excites a lot of hostility! With demos, I will be able to show more aspects of the products as well as go over the pros and cons instead of sharing the spotlight with other products! Stay tuned!

      Please do not stop giving your personal opinion reviews. I watched MANY videos before I found yours and because of your opinions I finally made a decision on which product I wanted. Thank you very much for what you do. Thank you for your opinions!!!

      Hi, I don't have a lot of money and a tool like this represents a significant investment. I can't afford to buy the wrong product and reviews such as yours are enormously helpful. Ignore the prats that cant' t bear anyone but themselves expressing an opinion; life's just too short. Thank you for sharing your views!!!

    I liked the way you've thought of the little things that I probably wouldn't have until I owned one. Then realizing .. oh crap, I can't do stage stamping, or a few other things I'm sure!
    You made a wonderful video, I'll be following your channel for other great ideas

    Great video, nice comparison of all three, you talk slow and clear which is great !! Suggestion for the we r platform you can glue non slip grip on the back of the tool or bigger or several smaller rubber feet as long as all feet are the same height (so the platform won't rock ) Also I use larger magnets (circumference, not depth) for a better hold of paper. Thank you for your time. Don't worry about the NASTIES, they are not happy with themselves so they take it out on others.. you do a good review!!! THANK YOU

    Thank you for your review. I was just about to purchase the Tim Holtz on line and changed my mind after I saw your video and one of the comments about it falling apart. I went to michaels on line and bought the We R Memory Keepers instead. With a coupon I paid $12!

    I JUST found your channel, and will be a new subscriber! :) I have been considering a purchase of a stamping platform, but haven't been able to make an actual commitment to buying what I consider to be an expensive purchase. I was leaning toward the one by We R Memory Keepers, and believe your review helped me to finally make the decision that it is this one that I will find most useful. I appreciate such a thorough review. tfs ~BLESSINGS~

    Thanks for explaining We R’s platform. I use their old one for turn abouts and Gina K’s wreath builders, and I’m sure this new format will be better. I love my Tim Holtz for everything else. The Misty Is too garish in color and I resent religious verses on something that costs so much. TFS!

    How do you know how to position the various 'parts' with the layering stamps?

    • @MonkeysPaperPalooza
      @MonkeysPaperPalooza  6 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Most layering stamps have a guide on how to position but sometimes you have to eye it. I find doing the last layer first often makes it easier and makes the colors blend better!

    Hello could you help me before I purchase. With the we are memory keepers platform would I be able to place a wood slice for ornament making inbetween in place of paper? Would there be enough room with a 1/4 inch or a bit bigger size slice to be able to be inbetween the platform the stamp and the top piece? Thanks for any and all input.

    If there is ink on the plate and you press down , will it hit the paper or only the inked stamp hits the paper? Also does the foam pad have an odour to it? Thank you!

    • @MonkeysPaperPalooza
      @MonkeysPaperPalooza  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I have yet to see the ink on the plate hit the paper and I get my plate pretty inky! I have not noticed any odor! I hope this helps!

  • @kraftykimmy

    Thank you for the comparison! I was debating between these 2 products. Do you find the WRMK plate move around the pegs at all? I read some complaints about the rubber feet wiggling and the pegs allowed the plate to wiggle a little, causing the stamped image to be imperfect... have you experienced this issue?

    • @MonkeysPaperPalooza
      @MonkeysPaperPalooza  6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I have not had that issue at all, it usually get a crisp image with either one or two presses. Sadly the TH and Stamp Perfect are no longer available in the US. The next video will be about this as well as changes in my videos!

    • @bunnylands916
      @bunnylands916 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I haven't had any problems with the feet wobbling or moving. The holes in the plate that you press down are slightly bigger than the pegs, and that "wiggle room" is why the results when you restamp may not be as perfect as you'd get with a hinged stamping platform. To address this, I push the plate against the pegs at the same time I press down (if you think of one row of pegs being "north" and the other being "east", I'm pushing the plate north and east at the same time I'm pressing it down - much easier to do than it is to explain). It's possible my stamped impressions end up with slightly thicker lines than if I'd used a MISTI - I don't have one so can't make a side-by-side comparison - but I'm very pleased with the results I've gotten. If you want to be 100% sure your stamp will hit exactly the same spot every time you make an impression, you might prefer a fixed hinge stamping platform like the MISTI. I'm on a budget, so being able to use a coupon at Joann and get the WRMK Precision Press Advanced for a quarter of the cost of a MISTI made it a no-brainer, and I love the ability to do turnabout stamping and work with larger pieces of cardstock. (The Stamparatus appears to offer even more versatility than the Precision Press Advanced, but it's out of my price range.)

    • @MonkeysPaperPalooza
      @MonkeysPaperPalooza  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, I believe it should work. I often use mine to stamp inside sentiments even on cards with 3D Features and works great!

    Great review, thx. But you made a MISTAKE with the WRMK tool, finally you said that the impression WITHIUT the Foam was the best, but you made a MISTAKE, the best impression was WITH the Foam, sorry, but if you are comparing it should be a right comparisson.

  • @karenonthelakestamper

    How did you center each part of the bird stamp so that the multiple layers were not in the wrong area?

    • @MonkeysPaperPalooza
      @MonkeysPaperPalooza  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      A lot of patience. Each layer has a spot where the line up with the other. I have seen some stampers who mark their stamps in a certain location, though I myself have never done it. I always double check as I stamp. Layering stamps can be tricky but fun. I do have to say the WRMK Precision Press Advanced is one of the best (other than the Stamparatus) for layering stamps because if you are making multiples, you can leave your perfectly placed pieces and just turn the block. No more trying to repositioning or doing each segment multiple times!

    I just bought a stamp perfect on Etsy from the UK 10x10 $45, 9x7 $36.50 both including shipping. I have a tonic studios 8.5x8.5 and I hate it. It warped after only a couple of months and now the metal plate on the back has become detached on one corner. I have to pick the unit up and hold it with one hand on each side of the back and front just to get my stamps to stamp, what a pain! I've only had it not even a year and don't use it very often but it is falling apart on me. I'm so glad that other companies are working to deliver other and better ideas for stamp platforms. I think I will purchase one of these as well to have as a back up. Thank you for the informative vid.

    • @MonkeysPaperPalooza
      @MonkeysPaperPalooza  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah, it is a super bummer that the Stamp Perfect is only available in the UK and areas of Canada. The price is now just as expensive as the Misti! I have heard so complaints on the tonic platform. This travel size is the newest version, so hopefully, it will be good. I actually enjoy the WRMK Precision Press Advanced a little more since I love layering stamps! cannot wait to try it with a turnabout stamp!
