You sir are a king among men
17 minute of bullshit... god damn pal
Can't get enough of Bruce and Conrad talking wrestling. Conrad always ask Bruce all the good questions tho sometimes Bruce likes to back pedal especially when talking pay
Jason Belton Conrad asks all the good questions n Bruce answers how he thinks Vince would approve impo
@@davenwatts8173 of course. Because you can’t have your fantasy world shattered by the truth so you have to believe your dirt sheet fantasies. If they get debunked there no way that the guy that wrote it with the track record of making shit up (Mable as the third man!?) is wrong...after all he wasn’t there at all so he is probably way more accurate than a guy that was.
Also addressing the OP I like how you think Conrad asks “all the good questions” when the majority of his questions are reading Meltzer reports and saying “what say you” or “chat me up about this”. NEITHER of those is a good question. MELTZER deserves more credit for the “questions” since this show is mostly made up of Conrad reading his old reports.
@@cineMADvocate No. Bruce is just a dishonest YES man and an ass kisser. He puts a spin on evrythin and can never give a straight answer. Listen to Jim Ross and see the difference. He is much more open and honest
Did you vote for Biden? 🤦🏼
conrad gets mad if he doesnt get the answer he wants, he doesnt care about the truth. no wonder he's such a big fan of dave meltzer. he's the prototypical smark
What a name for someone involved in a drugs trial.
"Anita Scales"
These stories are too good. There is no other wrestling channel like this. Bruce and Conrad are awesome and a great team. I'm addicted to this channel.
As am i
That makes 3 of.us
4 of us now. The podcast is tremendous.
@@erikchamberlain4076 These early episodes were phenomenal, but it’s pretty much jumped the shark now. You can only have so many stories. Great to go back and listen to these old ones though; still hold up as the best wrestling podcast episodes I’ve ever listened to.
It's amazing how anything that looks bad on WWE causes Bruce to have selective amnesia
And that's why he is currently employed by them.
@@JoeyMartz He kisses ass like a professional
"I dont know if we'll ever bring up Jerry Jarrett agina on this show"
"We wont"
Years later, not an episode goes by without a Jerry Jarrett impression 🤣🤣
I started watching WWF with Stone Cold, Kane and DX and was out by 2001 but I'm obsessed with these. I'm using these to sleep.
I can listen to these 2 for hrs on end !!!!
So Jerry Jarrett uses "well, you know" in a sentence in the same way Vince Russo uses "bro".
Well, bro, you know...
Or Big Dave Meltzer, ya know.
That condescending tone too
1:26:27 the biggest lie Conrad has ever told
Genius Podcast, second too none.

I just discovered this show (I know, I know) and my life has been changed by Bruce’s Jerry Jarrett impersonation. HILARIOUS!
I love when he does Cornette!
Bruce’s story about Jarrett calling for the ratings report is absolutely hilarious.
I find it precious that Bruce is so shocked and indignant about the underhanded tactics used by prosecutors. Anyone who works in or spends any time in the criminals "justice" system of the US finds out quickly that prosecutors, by and large, couldn't care less if the defendant is guilty or not, just about if they can get a conviction or not...and the means of securing such a conviction can be quite underhanded indeed, imo.
Well said
facts!!! at all levels of the "justice system" and not only prosecutors but any government position inside the criminal justice system are guilty of such actions individuals that dont rarely last long as a "government employee"
the u.s. government and media are the 2 biggest groups of criminals there is
'So, they're the only drug you didn't try? Moving on.'
Conrad cracks me up.

"when are we ever going to talk about jerry jarrett again??"
oh if only you knew Conrad.....
the shoot interview man so funny thinking about that quote today!
the shoot interview man, I love hearing those little arguments at the start of this series knowing how good they’re going to get
This podcast is fantastic. Keep it going!
Lmaooo i love with Bruce says "Oh he was there, in the room?" 😂😂
cool cast ... the jerry jarrett car story and impression was laugh out loud funny
Pritchard you crack me up! You are f***ing awesome man!
In a alternate universe, Jerry Jarrett and Vince Russo would've had a podcast called " Well, you know Bro."
01:33:00 missed opportunity for a Pat Patterson impression.
*French Canadian accent* "AWWW THEY FOUND HIM NOT THE GUILTY! THEY LET HIM GO AWW THEY SAY NOT THE GUILTY FUUUUUCK" *happy tears*
The best wrestling podcast bar none
The fact that Dave meltzer accepted money from Vince McMahon to speak nicely about the WWF in his article's says all you need to know about him.
#TEAMBROTHERLOVE
Well he's a tick that only exists as long as wrestling does
Always great material
The Arsenio Hall Hulk Hogan interview WELL BASICALLY!!
I really enjoy your podcast. Bruce and conrad thanks for everything. Whw is also great with tony. Please do a show on sycho sid vicious. #wellyouknow
How great is it that The Federal Government used a Brother Love trading card as the picture of Bruce in his file?
props to conrad for calling out prichard for dodging questions and giving shoddy answers
“ThE rAtInGs PAL! DamNiT tHe RaItInGs!”
Oh well y'know they're not in yet.
1:26:54 jerry jarrett impersonation 🤣 - some chicken salad ya know? 😂
Hogan on the stand ..... “ yeah that doesn’t work for me brother “
This was a very interesting episode. When I first heard of the trial (in the build up for Mr McMahon/Hollywood Hulk Hogan), I thought Ted Turner was desperate to be the top owner in the wrestling business. You could even say that this kick off the Monday Night War. That judge didnt realize that even though OJ Simpson took the spotlight off this trial, Vince McMahon and the WWF is a popular company. LOL! Bruce dont like to give figures on how much this trial hurt his and everybodys paycheck. You can tell from his voice that this put everybody in the red (they were losing money) and living paycheck to paycheck. This is why 1993-1994 was a weird time for the WWF.
1:26:07 The beginning of the Gerry Jarrett impression.
Conrad at times sounds like an overzealous prosecutor to a very seemingly nervous accused Bruce.
Who's he to talk it's not like he's a in any more of an honest line of work either?
"Hey Conrad you involved in any subprime lending that led to the housing bubble bursting in 2007?"
Surely not why would Conrad loan to illegals and poor people? I mean he just does a podcast about something they exclusively watch.
Tends to be vibe, yes. Not that it's undeserved, Bruce's takes on history tend to be awfully creative.
I'm only about 15 minutes into the cast but when talking about bret hitting Vince he describes it the same way I've heard countless others describe it... pppl who were also in the room
Conrad voice reminds me of Jim "Jr" Ross.
I almost died of laughter when Bruce said the prosecution used a brother love baseball card as his profile pic.
The start of Dave meltzer feud, a good bit of banter even before the great subject, who’s wrong between Bruce and Dave, depends on the subject I find.
Also secondary barbs thrown at Jerry Jarrett which would continue for sometime. 5/5
Wow only 40 ads in an hour!!!! How do you do it!!!!Amazing!!!!!!!
"I live in Alabama, watch your mouth. Calm down."
😂
Amazing these podcasts like.. very interesting to hear those that were there on what was going on when me/you/whoever was a early 90’s bairn like me 😂
Search out "The Trial of his Life" on The Lapsed Fan podcast for a multi-hour, multi-part series all about the trial. Astounding!
Ive been looking for that promo Vince did on Hogan: You testified against me-FOR THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT-in the trial of MY LIFE!
If you could provide a link, i would be eternally greatful!
I don't know a lot about the trial, but listening to this does decrease my perception of the government as it was then
Listen to The Lapsed Fan podcast. They did a series on the steroid trial that goes into the granular detail in a series of episodes that last almost 5 hours EACH. You will be AMAZED! And they are VERY funny.
The Jerry Jarrett impression 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Interestingly, Brett hart stated on Karate commentaries that the second time the warrior was fired was due to the warrior’s (and Davey boy smith) UK HGH dealer was arrested and that warrior and bulldogs names were on a list of clients....
That was the best Al Capone fault joke I've heard
Got damn pal
"Government, Narrative."
The Artful Dodger rips on the so-called journalists as much as Corny shreds Russo😂
Great stuff. Back when wrestling was wrestling.
Wait if steroids became illegal in 1990, why is he being charged for things that happened in 1989?
Because the government.
Bruce "It was always a Witch Hunt" Prichard
The JJ impression 😂😂😂😂
Is the Brother Love voice a knock on Jerry Jarrett? Sounds so similiar
Drinking Game
Every time Conrad says
*Hilarious*
I couldn't tell you what Jerry Jarrett was consulting on, it was mostly gibberish 😂😂 well you know....
The Hippocratic oath has not been required of Doctors for many years.
I love bruces jerry jarrett impression. Nowadays whenever you hear jarrett talk, he sounds like hes dying on the toilet.
Just about everyone backs up Vince's story about him being punched once including Bret.

When you fee the need to drag your opinions on politics into wrestling podcasts....
YOU MIGHT BE THE PROBLEM
No one cares if you
hate Donald Trump or Love Donald Trump
For all the times Bruce claims that Jerry said "You Know" Bruce says it a lot himself
Ya with OJ going on I heard less about this during that time.
I miss how good this podcast was before Bruce went back.
Cornette has said that Jarrett was brought in to take over on his pod at and was made a consultant after it was over. He also said Bruce hated Jarrett which is a DUH statement
What’s that harmonica song in the beginning from
Good show. I was like 13 yrs old or something when this bogus trial happened and I've never really heard it talked about much. I think this stuff should all be legal in sports and to the general public. Athletes put their bodies through a tremondous amount of abuse and they deserve to be able to recuperate. Hopefully at some point they will be legal in sports and with anti-aging clinics now popping up everywhere the general public can get prescriptions for most of these substances.
By the way, in most countries, including most European countries steroids are legal and sold over the counter.
Reasonable use is one thing, abuse is another.
There is a lot that goes into proper cycles.
The 'roid trial was probably Turner throwing his weight around, pulling some strings to keep Vince in line.
I dont believe for a single second that brother love wasnt on the juice. hahahahahahahaha
I was shocked to hear Hogan , Vince, etc was on steroids. A lot of people where Ignorant back then. That’s how a lot of baseball players got away with it.
Willingly ignorant.
Back in the day when we were kids we just thought these guys were super human. Like the guy said in Bigger Faster Stronger, I didn't look up to my dad either, I looked up to guys like Hulk and Arnold. Now everything is out and kids today can even see a guy and say he's on steroids. You can see the difference in Hulk from around 84-88 to when he arrived in WCW in 94. He didn't have all the water weight and puffiness and was so much smaller. He didn't look like that super human being, and he leaned out so much.
Annette Scales is an ironic name for someone involved in an alleged drug scandal
Ric flair .....greatest one match wrestler ever
Professional wrestling in 2021 sucks so bad compared to 80's and 90's !
Yes?
Missed this one 😂
17-18 mins in before show starts
Kind of funny to me they refer to wwe headquarter's as "Titan Tower" it's far from a tower
thank you! always wondered why that was
1:28:32 - Goddamn Pal, that's funny.
1:26:27 This was all spurred on by Conrad’s lie
51:05-52:30 was unintentionally funny! 😂😂
I really wish they wouldve talked about Jerry Jarrett more since this episode lol
I can't watch the crap they call wrestling today, so it's nice to listen to the behind the scenes stuff from the good old days when wrestling was good... I feel like wrestling could be great again if you let guys like Cornett & Bruce run the show with out being restrained by the PC handcuffs McMahan puts on creative today... plus throw out the scripts and let the guys talk from the heart, well the ones that can at least!
Conrad dont forget to spit before getting off your knees when you finish blowing Dave meltzer
Scott steiner used twice as many steroids as all other wrestlers combined
Surprise, surprise. The feds used media to portray Vince in an unfavorable light.
When are we ever going to talk about Jerry Jarrett again? Oh,if y'all only knew...
Just Rumors and Innuendo
I really don't get the big deal with steroids in wrestling or in one's private life there is no unfair advantage like in sports, its your body, why anyone else would care what you put in it is beyond me in this context and any other lol
@@thaterasound You have no clue what your talking about. Shut your face.
Least favorite episode ive ever listened to. I hate when Bruce ducks questions from Conrad.
Conrad Alabama proud.
Well, you take the chicken, and you know, some walnuts, and you know, chop em up with the grapes, and you know, some mayonnaise, and the salt and pepper and you know, chicken salad!
Conrad is the only reason I listen (and Bruce's impersonations)
Wonder how many times Conrad will say “rumor inuindo”………….
Bruce is so defensive and always twisting story's
Anytime Bruce says "and you know, again..." he's probably not keeping it real. Lol
My doctor prescribed me steroids a couple years ago.. I forgot why tho.. no big deal
spike dudley was on steds
Heavy Blud Hey you've got the 'Kanye white face' profile pic! That should be considered a racist act by 2018's standards on the xpac Mark Henry impersonation.
It's an interesting subject but Prichard is totally the wrong person to ask about it
He just ducks questions and acts smug while saying nothing. Which is fine for like talking about PPvs or bad angles but .. Conrad couldn't get anything out of him for this one
Damn...who knew Vince was a low-key Escobar?
That just makes him sound more cool.
THE RATINGS, PAL!!!!
Why did Vince take steroids?
Why does a gym rat that does compete in anything take them? They said before that Vince started on the set of No Hold's Barred. He wanted that awesome physique. I like to workout and work on my physique, but I would never do roids. One because it's illegal and not worth the risk, and two it has too many side effects. I've thought about it, but I agree that it's dumb unless you need it to excel at a sport, but as I mentioned some people like Vince still want to do it.
Why would Vince care about being faster and more athletic from juice ? He didn’t step foot in the ring back then . He just wanted to be jacked . Lol no need to sugar coat it Bruce
The guys knew what they were taking they didnt have to do anything they didnt want and they were not supplying, so not really anybody’s business.
Its not as if this case made and impact, steroids are bigger then ever thanks to fitness youtubers and google
