  • Today we are covering my new BWM E36 M3 suspension setup, wheels, and spacers specs. These are ohh so flush. My goal here is a semi-aggressive OEM LTW-style look. This look is just so classic and tasteful.
    If you need wheel spacers, I recommend these ECS Tuning wheel spacers. They are really well made and they also come in all different bolt patterns for other cars like Porsches, Audi, and Minis.

    Are the front spacers you put on in the video 15mm or 12.5mm

    Man this the fitment ive been looking for its perfect on so many levels. I need a bit of help tho so im looking to rebuild a set of bbs rs and in terms of specs without spacers this set up would be 17 by 8.5 ET21 right? This offset shit still scares me lol i feel like im right, am I right?

    • @teesley615
      @teesley615 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Quite sure the rears are et26 because the offset of the wheel without a spacer is et41. 41 minus the 15mm spacer he added would bring you to 26. Pretty surprised they fit with no roll and especially surprised they didn’t rub bad when he had the old setup with the 20mm spacer which would be et21.

      @@teesley615 I was trying to work out his widest set up. I’m looking at a pair of BBS RS that are 17 by 9 ET20. Everyone is telling me they wont fit but I see people with apex arc 8 that are 17 by 9 ET30. Claiming their fenders aren’t rolled. So I’m trying to work out if I roll my fenders will I be able to fit 17 by 9 et20. I seen one set up that has 17 by 9 et 22 on 215/40/17 but that seems like too much stretch and the car was slammed.

      @@VictoriouzBIG I think to fit an et20 wheel you’d almost definitely have to roll the fenders unless the tire is super narrow and stretched. Even then you might have to with that offset

      @@teesley615 I would roll the fenders but that 1 extra inch is freaking me out and I really don't want to stretch to a 215. This set is absolutely beautiful tho and would go so well but I think the front is impossible with a bigger tyre

    • @teesley615
      @teesley615 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@VictoriouzBIG I doubt you would have to roll the fender in the front. On e36s the rear is usually where the problem is unless it comes to clearing the strut but an 8.5 wheel isn’t even that wide and should be good especially with a lower offset

    Love the build, but quick question what is the name for your front lip on the car? Would you have a link to them?

    • @levelupclassics
      @levelupclassics  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      My lip is a Rieger GT lip. I love that lip because its affordable and easily replaceable. Its gotten a bit more expensive from inflation, but this is a good alternative too bit.ly/E36modularfrontlip. Its a little bit more but LTW lip style. There is also carbon ones, but I would be worried that breaks in a week. Cheers! Thanks for watching! I have a video when I installed my lip somewhere. I never posted it, but Ill see if I can dig it up.

    • @levelupclassics
      @levelupclassics  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      its up to you and whatever wheel specs you have. It doesnt have to be super flush. All setups are a little different. Thanks!

    Nice, how well does the e36 stack up against the other 2 in the garage?

    • @levelupclassics
      @levelupclassics  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I actually love how the e36 drives. I think its the torque factor. It feels like its actually fast (keep in mind its an old car, but it feels fast). The 911s is more of the classic coolness factor, sounds, engagement, personality... all the cars are loved.

    Did you rub in the front with the 12.5? Are front fenders rolled? Thanks!

    • @levelupclassics
      @levelupclassics  ปีที่แล้ว

      Fenders are stock and not rolled. I wanted to keep it as OEM+ as possible. If I do a full lock and hit a bump while driving I will get a rub, but on the inner well not the fender. Thanks for watching!
