Pretty nice first attempt brother and sister. Great transformation. The ticking is because you started and parked the car over and over, without driving it. Dutch regards Nico.
First of all good to see an upload from you guys, you have made that E36 from ugly duckling to a Swan.. kudos to both of you guys. Would like to see some interior work done to it as well. I would wrap the mirror's but that's my opinion....Hopefully you can start back on the E30 again.😁
For the sunroof you can probably get away with compounding it so the black is glass smooth at the very least...Then just apply a cheap ceramic coating to seal it. It won't be perfect and it's not going to help the durability of the finish too much but it will look a hell of a lot better in the mean time until you decide to redo that section.
I'm pretty sure that seal on the skirt is more important u think. I'm spending the money and keeping my rockers from becoming like everyone else's rockers. Also is it a face-lift? Those aren't oem kidneys so I can't tell. I swapped mine to prefacelift and don't like it now..looking for something different
I agree that it is important, but rust is not a huge issue in our area so not in a rush to get the seal. Yes it is facelift and no they aren't OEM grills, they came with the car
@@ShopLifeTV I'm learning about wrapping too, and thought about potential rust also. I also thought that the wrap would protect the metal from rusting as well.
@@ShopLifeTV that’s true yeah well just giving a heads up that if it ever breaks down you do the swap it would make great content tbh lol I would watch all the videos
Don't lower it, mine is lowered and it looks stupid. Also don't put blue poly bushings on it, mine has them and they ruin the ride. That decade is known for the ultimate smooth and precise ride, the poly bushings with lowered spring turn it into a cheap tacky Subaru, don't do that to your car it deserves better.
It's currently on eibach coilovers, but definitely needs new dampers all around. Once we get the new wheels ready, then we will drop it a bit to get rid of the fender gap. Function > form

Thanks Nico!! And yes that ticking will go away after driving for a bit
Looks like an individual color. Looks great. Congratulations
Thanks Alan! It's a very different color, but I love it!
@@ShopLifeTV I prefer different colors. I don't want a car the same as 10 others I see at a meet or whatever. 👍
You guys are awesome together! With your teamwork, you gys accomplish the craziest tasks. Great job!
you did an amazing job on the wrap good thinking keeping all the black trim and contrast
Thank You!!
Funny that this is the first series I watch on DIY wrapping and y'all just happen to have the exact same wrap that I purchased lol!
You got that part CORRECT. Anyone expecting a SHOWcar Appearance is FOOLISH. Wrap will look great everytime until you get digging for imperfections.
Wut? How is it great if it has imperfections? What the hell are you actually saying (in English)? Your capitalization needs work too.
Glad you guys are back
Great to see you guys again
Good to see you back. And that's a wrap!
I gasped when I saw that colour! It looks so good! Good job guys!
Thank you!
Man I got pretty good with car tints today. After having done it 3 times in the past today with four windows I got better by the third one
It's amazing how experience in anything cuts down on job time.
Looks good! The black trim is a nice contrast. I agree on the gunmetal wheels. And maybe paint the brake calipers red, for a bit of color.
Thanks Michael! I prefer black calipers unless its a big brake kit or something to draw attention to lol
That poor car didn't deserve this. But you managed to pull it out in the end. Good work not giving up.
Hahahaha
Looks sooo clean man! Keep up the good work
Such a nice transformation. Great work, guys!
Thanks Rich!!
Awesome vid . You guys are a power couple like me and my wife. BLESSINGS
Thanks Jonathan!
Love this project build, mint chocolate chip e36
You made me look at M3s again and I can't afford any of them anymore 😅Damn

Y’all made that look easy!!!

Thanks Thomas!!

Thanks man! And yes E30 is on the top of the list before starting any new long projects
@@ShopLifeTV Glad to hear that😁
My 1,000+ installs since 1996 are 85%-99%. Hide the imperfections, and then the goal is attained. Professionals hide their's under the car.

Well worth the effort! Looks great 😎
Wish it hadn't taken us so long, hopefully the next wrap goes smoother and quicker lol Thank You!
Such a nice color, nice job.

Great work
Awesome!
Love that color
good job looks good
Nice
What size roll did you have to get? I really want to try it myself but I still need to understand inlays . I think it turned out great
Looks 🔥🔥🔥
dam that s52 sounds beat, it def needs a rebuild
Hide your DENTED & IMPERFECT body panels with PATTERNS & PRINTS. Avoid solid colors to disguise rough surfaces
Crrriiiinnnngggeeee
LETS GOOOOOO WE ARE BACKK
Took a little break, even though it didn't feel like a break lol
Guess you gave up on the s54 e30?
Why not just wrap over the bare metal vs repainting?
Thought about it, but didn't want to risk any rust. Especially with how hard it is to find a decent hood
@@ShopLifeTV I'm learning about wrapping too, and thought about potential rust also. I also thought that the wrap would protect the metal from rusting as well.
Where's bmw selenas LS swapped e46?
Pastels? Is this a car or bathroom wallpaper. LOL.
Lol better than the backyard black that was on there
How much wrap was ordered?
I need a e36 🙏🙏🙏
Y’all gotta 2j swap that e36
It will eventually get a swap, but it's running and driving right now so we will focus on other projects lol
@@ShopLifeTV that’s true yeah well just giving a heads up that if it ever breaks down you do the swap it would make great content tbh lol I would watch all the videos

Pls restore it it’s my dream car
Wrapping is harder and inferior to painting change my mind
