Would you recommend the Dobyn's Fury 7'3" Heavy & fast tip for a good frogging rod? I know you know the Dobyn's rod brand creator, but honestly would? I would use it for Frogging and other grassy stuff.

When I stopped bringing my conventional gear and brought fly gear only, I got significantly better at fly fishing. Now, on the water, I usually just have a small box of flies, nippers, tippet/leader material and my fly rod.
I know thats a Shimano CI4+ and im assuming its the 4000XG, I just got one and have the first 2 versions. Im also assuming thats a Shimano rod... possibly the Teramar? I have the same setup and catch everything on it. Awesome catch, nice JC.

why not use use 2 hooks one for hooking bait and the other hook stinger underneath with nothing or next to nothing on it ....that first hook has a lot of meat on it seems it would prevent good hookups.

When i saltwater fish for bonito on the west coast I usually use 20lb braid with a 15-20lb leader like you guys did
