Maynard had an energy level that no one has ever been able to match... it's like a nuclear explosion on stage!!

You gotta love that shout of exultation after coming off that last note..."Ohhhh yeah!" He laid it all on stage that night, nothing left in the tank, and he survived!

Jeez, he was on it that night. You couldn't get any more air down that horn.

Years ago I opened up for Maynard and his band on a concert in Florida. He is in a class all his own.

Maynard was a 70s guy no question about it. Lucky for me I went to high school in the 70s and saw MF Orchestra live many times. Maynard was unstoppable, there was never a bad night, or even a bad note, and it was effing loud, rivaling the rock concerts of the time.
Does anyone know was Lynn Nicholson with the band for this concert ?
