Hey do you know how to start a warlord mission with a private server?
Just bought the game, how friendly is the server to New guys?? I'm coming from an Escape from Tarkov background so its brand new to me.
As long as you communicate with your team mates most players on the Official servers are pretty cool. Take some time to go over the keybindings and controls, get familiar and make adjustments where needed, specifically for the in game voice chat. Good luck and welcome!

So if i make my own warlord mission does the AI bork out and not purchase units or try and take objectives?
That question is a little beyond my depth. You may be able to get a better answer from the official ArmA III discord, or the one in the description of this video. Hope that helps!
Yea well what I think I found is that normally if you put down an AI unit it will not do anything but do its unassigned default AI thing.
Weirdly, however, when I set that AI to be "playable", it still stood there BUT it started buying units. Sadly those units did not attack sectors or anything, they just stood there and guarded their base.
I'm now experimenting to get a PVE Warlords match properly working. Might gonna use the Spawn AI and Sector Tactic modules and stuff like that, however it won't work perfectly if I do that as then the scenario is using 2 different occupy systems at once. Seriously tho, why can't there be just one such system that works for everything? I just wanna create a warzone where there's 2 AI sides spawning their units and fighting over zones automatically, and there's you on one of the sides just taking a smaller part in the battle by being one of the squad leaders, who can buy himself equipment and squadmates as a plus. Don't die, intercept enemies, and help your side be the winner. I'm not that far from getting it working.

If you hold down the “I” key after voting for a sector it will open the request menu
Oh Ikr I was searching for a way on youtube but the funny thing is, the game was running as I watched this video, I expected the answer from the video which I only partially got, then the game just noticed I haven't done anything in a few mins and finally sent a hint. Hold I.

They are definitely still running, and even one of bohemia's official server's, EU11, runs the WSV version of warlords that may have more players at times. The WSV discord is here: discord.gg/FazcX37r

How do you unlock a vehicle I just got arma 3 and don’t know how to play
If you own a vehicle to unlock it you can either walk up to it and use the action menu by scrolling your mouse wheel, one of the options should be to unlock the vehicle. Another way to unlock your vehicles is to open the request menu by holding the "i" key, going to the strategy tab and choosing the unlock all vehicles remotely option. Hello, you can find an official warlords server in the multiplayer server browser. If you set the search filter to show only the warlords game mode, it will show servers running that mode. Hope this helps!

The server should still be up, there aren’t always people playing though.
I tried playing this mode, kept getting decimated by Opfor which dominated the map, didn't even have enough time to get troops in before we were decimated by an army of enemy tanks, why make a game mode that is so unbalanced. Got bored of being killed 3 seconds out of the gate everytime I spawned after 30 minutes.
Because its not unbalanced as idiots like prof it. Should have spawnd in one of the 23 other bases where the enemy is not. Get your stuff and attack them. But hey its easier to complain then git gut.
How to Choosing a vehicle?
If you hold the "i" key in a match of Warlords you can access the request menu which has a vehicle tab to select any vehicles from your team's side excluding artillery.
How do you spawn in a heli
There are a few specific sectors to capture where you can call in air assets. Choppers and Jets need to spawn in and actually land at airports only if the sector has a chopper and jet icon next to the sector name on the map and is controlled by your team. Hope this helps!

NP! Fast travel is done via the request menu by holding the down the i key. You may fast travel to either controlled or contested sectors. There is more info on that in this video: th-cam.com/video/EaSu98y_dwg/w-d-xo.html

Is he playing against real people or ai
AI in this video, but Warlords is also a player vs player game mode. Both teams have to fight against AI to initially capture sectors and then defend captured sectors from the enemy team while also moving to capture the enemy team's sectors.

i would love to play more ARMA 3 but after 3 new pcs since release this game still runs like shit.. i had like 30 fps in warlords with my RTX 3090... im out.. i hope arma 4 will finally have a good performance like dayz has...
