Truck T-bones car, driver doesn't know !!

- Just out of Melbourne this event unfolded in front of us. The car is caught in front of the massive truck while travelling through roadworks at 25kmph. The truck driver doesn't even realise the car was stuck on his grill until other motorist's stop him !!
Wow that's amazing. Hard to believe that he couldn't see her.
Truckers are allways checking guages and mirror. If the bimbo was t boned and was pushed i bet she merged right infront of the truck. Literally right in front. Trucks with noses have a blindspot right infront of the truck it actually covers the entire car. Thanks for the vis guys i really like them. Get more flex from your springs by taking clamps of them. Watching your series landy makes me want to to get my landy out. Great mod for tour landy perhaps a 200 tdi? Maybe a five speed lt77 aswell? It would be.awesome. i will be.installing 300 tdi into my ex army landy (its a working progress?
Matt Luszczak The thing with the Naked Off Road concept is to see how far we can go in a standard old S3. It's a tough call to make to be honest as I would love to have a bit more power and economy. As an example I've fitted new tyres, but due to the concept behind Naked Off Road I spent money on 7.50 x16 tyres , which can be pretty average in sand , and cost similar to say, 33 x10.5 x15 ( same rolling size) but the wider tyres are not standard size so I tried to stay as close to original as possible. The only mechanical alterations to the S3 is the parabolic springs , and the defender seats . Mainly because factory spring are not available easily , and mine were broken. The engine , gearbox and driveline is all completely standard. In saying that I did have a Defender 200 and we still own a Disco 300 as a secondary vehicle and they are ok. But their is nothing like doing a massive trip in an old S3 and it not missing a beat. I think I like the phrase " if it's not broke, don't fix it " . Cheers , Steven
