Love your passion for the Land Rover, have driven series 2 & 3 as well as 300tdi Discovery, love them all, great video ‘s. Now driving Traxxas trx-4 wishing it was the real thing, but it does do the Land Rover justice, awesome only on a smaller scale. 👍🏻🏴
david morrison Hi, Charlie has the original 2.25 litre petrol. Has 3 fuel tanks. All original Land Rover series versions . A 72 litre under each seat. And a 72 litre in the rear from a 5 door wagon. 216 litres all up.
I am very happy to see so many Gold Coast locals are not afraid of the nature's angry. May be the adventure spirits makes people sanguine. Cant wait to move to Gold Coast from Sydney. Hope I could find a property is located just nearby the canal, but never been flooded. Not sure whether can find one...
Hi David, we actually have a few trips planned. We are about to get Charlie ready for some decent expeditions. We have been provided with a Runva waterproof winch to test out, so we will be making a video of the fitting of this winch. This won't be a straight forward weld on job. Its going to be removable quickly off the front and have the ability to be rear mounted. Then we will be making Sand/bridging ladders and mounting brackets for the side of Charlie. Lastly will be the bed in the rear cargo area. This will complete the expedition prep. After that we will be travelling to Birdsville to test our our gear before the "real" trips start.
Wow sounds good look forward to seeing the build up / I currently have a Hyundai terracan it's having a winch installed later this month I'm looking to head out to Birdsville this year
+Naked Off Road i think waterproof winch is the way to go I pulled my domin8tor off the other day it failed .wene pulling end cap off the inside armature was full of water an 2 of the brush retaining springs rusted off at the water line the water leaked in threw the side bolts I have now sealed it my way the factory seal don't work powerful winch wene working
Love your videos mate, I too have a series 3 109, but a station wagon. Mine is called Lofty, because it's on a military chassis and 1 ton springs, so it's quite tall! They give such a sense of invulnerability to weather, rain, snow or heat. I'd drive mine anywhere, trust it more than the missus!!hahaha!
A great feature of Landies is the lack of carpeting.
THANK YOU FOR DETAIL WET VIDEO IN LOVE LAND ROVER

Thats it. I have been provided with an electric Runva IP67 sealed winch to test out. Will be fitting it in the next two weeks.
