You could hear the scorn in Mr. Austin's voice when he heard Mr. Yadollahi had a Masters. Gaslighting requires the absence of third parties. And gaslighting is clearly his preferred tactic dealing with people. Unfortunately, yes, all too often. Heard a story (from an LEO, that laughed about it) that he contacted a person's employer just to make trouble. This is why if you get pulled over for a traffic violation, you NEVER tell them where you are going when they ask.

Lol that’s me, the cops once had me in the cells for 1 whole week because they wanted me to admit to DUI. I get arrested 4+ times a week but they never find alcohol in my system so now it was the bad cop treatment to get a confession. The sad thing is they wouldn’t let me call anyone, my mum and pregnant wife had a missing persons out on me with cops telling them they had no idea where I was. One of the cops told my now ex wife that he had reason to believe I was in Plymouth with my real wife. Guess what the main divorce reasoning was? Getting off track what I mean to say is now the cops could be arresting armed men st gunpoint and I’ll walk over to them and ask if they need me to call anyone or do anything. I got arrested once for trespass to public property. I resisted and got another charge. The states attorney laughed and called the cops dumbasses. He dropped the trespass but unfortunately I did resist so he gave me a small fine.

You can be trespassed from public office's, there is always time, place, and manner restrictions in public spaces. But John could not have violated any of the restrictions of that police station. He had legitimate business at the office, was not disrupting any services, and the officer issued no lawful commands. He has the first amendment right to speak, and that doesn't go away because a officer is questioning someone. This isn't a officer with someone in hand cuff, he is having what is supposed to be a consensual conversation with the women, the only way he gets privacy to talk to her is if she consents as she is not the subject of a criminal investigation.

Don't forget the part where he essentially takes offense that someone else is questioning his opinion (one that he has neither the authority, apparently the training, or the experience) on someones mental state. The whole thing smacks of a someone who didnt want to deal with an issue, and had a bruised ego when he was called out on it by someone that actually has the knowledge and ability the cop lacked. Honestly I dont think anyone would have to have the credentials the Samaritan had to assess the woman as being upset as a result of the situation she was in and the cops aggressiveness but that in no way raises her state of mind to something that needs medical intervention at the time. Anyone with basic human empathy and a little patience should have been able to handle this, obviously qualities the cop lacked. The fact that he did have the credentials he had though, helped immensely in taking the heat off the victim allowing her to collect herself without the cop browbeating her as the cop decided he was a bigger threat his authority and ego.
Probably even closer to ASPD, which is even far worse than regular NPD. All ASPD folks are also NPD, but only a small percentage (relatively) of NPD folks are ASPD. Not having any affective empathy and conscience (ASPD) is a pretty scary thing for the people around that person. They tend to lie as easy as most people breath.

I was stopped once 3 secs after my son, all of 8 months old undid his own carseat for the first time..the cop actually called a health nurse to weigh my son, with a scale to check if he was the right weight for his seat?? Which he was... the cop wrote me a ticket for my son being improperly seatbelted..100.00 something..they scratched the trunk of my car with the scale, not thinking to put a blanket or barrier down first.. such stupid laws abused by lame police are common...real crime rarely gets solved as this mindset of officer is all about nitpicking, not crimefighting.

As someone who has learned languages through immersion I can tell you that “fluency” is often contextual. Emotional and psychological stress can interfere greatly with the ability to produce and process language especially those other than your mother tongue.

I am a retired therapist and I would say the cop is a narcissist. He was clearly not getting his own way, and tried to make out she was mentally unstable because she dared to get his information, which he failed to give her, that is why she was upset with him. Then because someone dared stand up to him, he tried to intimidate him so he would shut up and leave, so he could continue his abuse of that woman, but it didn't work. Classic narcissistic behavior. Why can you just become a cop in the US? It takes 3-6 years, depending on your rank, to be a police officer in Germany. You can't be leading before you have done 4 years of service

The daily threat of losing their life has become so rampant that most cops don't want to work in most areas anymore. You're left with the psychopaths you see here. Most police departments actually do vet their officers quite well, but some are so desperate for people they'll let anyone in. The US has no standard practice about who can and can't be hired, as it's down to how the department and state decide on those things, with some places simply requiring a few weeks of training.

Lol that’s me, the cops once had me in the cells for 1 whole week because they wanted me to admit to DUI. I get arrested 4+ times a week but they never find alcohol in my system so now it was the bad cop treatment to get a confession.

Yeah, I think the cop had no idea that when he went to the other officers there and declared that she was screaming and crying and talking circles and couldn't be talked to after they had a long and coherent discussion with her basically sealed the deal for him. I got arrested once for trespass to public property. I resisted and got another charge. The states attorney laughed and called the cops dumbasses. He dropped the trespass but unfortunately I did resist so he gave me a small fine.

You can be trespassed from public office's, there is always time, place, and manner restrictions in public spaces. But John could not have violated any of the restrictions of that police station. He had legitimate business at the office, was not disrupting any services, and the officer issued no lawful commands. He has the first amendment right to speak, and that doesn't go away because a officer is questioning someone. This isn't a officer with someone in hand cuff, he is having what is supposed to be a consensual conversation with the women, the only way he gets privacy to talk to her is if she consents as she is not the subject of a criminal investigation.

Don't forget the part where he essentially takes offense that someone else is questioning his opinion (one that he has neither the authority, apparently the training, or the experience) on someones mental state. The whole thing smacks of a someone who didnt want to deal with an issue, and had a bruised ego when he was called out on it by someone that actually has the knowledge and ability the cop lacked.
Honestly I dont think anyone would have to have the credentials the Samaritan had to assess the woman as being upset as a result of the situation she was in and the cops aggressiveness but that in no way raises her state of mind to something that needs medical intervention at the time. Anyone with basic human empathy and a little patience should have been able to handle this, obviously qualities the cop lacked. The fact that he did have the credentials he had though, helped immensely in taking the heat off the victim allowing her to collect herself without the cop browbeating her as the cop decided he was a bigger threat his authority and ego.

He was clearly not getting his own way, and tried to make out she was mentally unstable because she dared to get his information, which he failed to give her, that is why she was upset with him. The daily threat of losing their life has become so rampant that most cops don't want to work in most areas anymore. You're left with the psychopaths you see here. Most police departments actually do vet their officers quite well, but some are so desperate for people they'll let anyone in. The US has no standard practice about who can and can't be hired, as it's down to how the department and state decide on those things, with some places simply requiring a few weeks of training.
