He certainly hated that man for no reason.

You know he's a POS when he shows up in uniform. Only a POS becomes a cop these days.
Same thought for me too, IMO I think that cops should not be allowed to curse at the public, some police actually have it in their policies but police following policy is like a unicorn
I thought the same.
The victim gets hit by a car,but the cop let the driver leave, while investigate the victim who got hit.what a tyrant.

TEXAS cop did sane to 1A auditor Carolina Ft Worth (channel name)
This cop should’ve been arrested and charged with negligent homicide
I dunno about 'negligent' - that attack seemed pretty deliberate to me. The cop might not have explicitly intended to kill the guy, but he *_definitely_* wanted to (and did) hurt him.
What happened afterwards was the negligent part. The staff at the county jail could *_clearly_* see that he needed medical attention urgently, but they did nothing. They just stood by and watched as his symptoms worsened.
Maybe timely treatment might have made a difference to the ultimate outcome, maybe it wouldn't - either way, every single cop and jail official *_UTTERLY_* failed in their duty of care.
The way they treated him was practically medieval . . .
He killed that poor man. Layed in ICU for 2 weeks with a brain bleed. Died 9 months later from "Parkinsons" but never once showed any symptoms of Parkinsons. He suddenly develops it and dies within a few short months? No that cop killed him.
What you don’t trust doctors? You an anti-vaxer?
I AGREE 💯 %
100% that cop needs to go to jail for that mans death. he would not have died if that interaction hadn't happened
Parkinson’s is NOT fatal.. one can die WITH Parkinson’s, but not OF Parkinson’s..
When they went to book him the Intake officers said he needed to go to the hospital. Huge failure. That cop killed him. For no reason.
He attempted to cover, saying he was trying to walk away but he was clearly walking towards the scene, not away from it. At the time he put hands on him. I hope he understands what he did. 😢 not just him tho. Everyone that interacted with him after the intake. He was clearly injured. Spooky behavior.
The "investigator" that found "no wrong-doing" should be charged as well. Clear cover-up, and corruption.
As is the case for most of these internal reviews. I don't know why they even bother wasting their time with them.
yeah
Why you think they act like that they have green card from above...
@theweirdo61 Exactly why an INTERNAL review should not be done. The review should be processed by an independent group or individual, therefore there is no buddy buddy cover up crap going on

Aye aye. The man died. Life in prison.
Hell yes !
Hell yeah.
The Cop should go to prison.
An aspirin. To a man exhibiting symptoms of a brain injury... Aspirin... Which is an anticoagulant. They should be charged with attempted murder.
The cop sould, the jail attendant should and the person behind the jail cell arraignment area should be disciplined. He saw that the guy was acting funny, and chose to just let it go to get him OUT of the system so the city would not me be on the hook for their damages.
The cops NEVER checked him for alcohol. He was technically operating a vehicle, and IF he was intoxicated that would have been DUI. They HAD the right and ability to do so regardless of the victims will to cooperate.
The jail attendant should have insisted he get checked out and again Had the right to do so regardless of the victim's' refusal. He was in custody, and the victim showed CLEAR medical issues.
the guy behind the grill knew something was wrong, the jail attendant KNEW AND POINTED OUT HE HAD HIT HIS HEAD!!!!! except HE had not hit his own head the cop had attacked him unreasonably.
This entire thing is just another reason to never go to texas, even if just passing through. IT also shows that the cop wanted to write SOMEBODY up for the accident....and used the poor, old grouch as HIS victim.
Edit: I responded quickly because what I saw was simply so egregious just impossible to take in ( even though I know it happens all too often in the US)
I would totally agree with the below F grade for the police dept, and for the cop I would actually have considered manslaughter. Moreso with his history, but just on the actions in this ONE incident.
I also think the family should hire an attorney to file a federal right violations suit.
I would very much like to thank Prado for NOT whitewashing this, and trying to do the official line and cover it up. The Police chief and the jail personnel should be CHARGED. This was NOT in their line of duty, nor should qualified immunity apply to this at all. They ignored his rights to the point he died from neglect while in that cities care.
I cannot comment on the city, because they do not seem to have reacted until WAY late in the process. I think their hiring of Prado was to put distance between them and the obvious criminal activity of the police THEY are responsible for.
Anyway, It is all a sad thing. Sad that the cop is a vicious killer, and that he was allowed to find a new home after discipline in Houston AND that the chief in dickerson covered up a killer's actions. ( and if they want to say...but but but it was an accident and the cop did not mean it. PFFT the guy on the bike was HIT by a car on accident...the cop was deliberate)
Absolutely.
He was indicted, so it is possible.
The whole department should....here is yet another example of how there's no such thing as a "good cop"....if there was a single "good cop" at that department, they would have done everything in their power to rectify this situation, force out the bad cops, leak the info to the media...anything!!!

He is victim of a hit and run and treated like garbage. Fire that cop!
Officer Kinsley is a disgrace to life itself. The lack of responsibility or awareness. How did he ever get the job? The ineptitude in every sense of the word. He deserves to rot in jail for life. Those that followed in his wake with equivalent indifference... How do you sleep at night? My heart goes out to the Scurlock family.
How did he get the job? How could he not! Being a vile, POS with violent tendencies and an urge to hurt people are requirements these days for these cowards in costumes.
I will add the chief, the jailers and the judge are part of that group.
There are studies that proof the majority of cops have a criminal mind.
"How did he ever get the job?"
This is what they're *_trained_* to do. They hire thugs because they *_want_* thugs. Violent tendencies count in a cadet's favour, not against.
Cops getting in trouble and then jumping to a new department needs to be stopped.
Seriously. It’s just like catholic priests being assigned to new parishes after they molest kids
Need to be banned, just like in the coast guard as a Merchant Marine if you get into trouble with them, you can work at all in the industry.
The sad reason that happens so often is it saves the receiving agency the cost of training a new officer.
If the police departments did their jobs correctly that officer would have been on the Brady List a long time ago and not had an opportunity to injure anyone else.
its why cops are allowed to retire when they do something like this so they can then join another department with no record

Wow I was in tears after watching this one. There is absolutely no excuse for the way this sweet elderly man was treated. They showed him no respect , no compassion whatsoever. And I’m not a doctor but after viewing all the footage I would conclude it’s not a far stretch to assume that the injuries he received from this corrupt cop along with getting no proper medical treatment and spending the next 24 hrs in jail ( for no reason) without treatment and clearly declining by the hour that this did in fact attribute in some way to his failing health and eventual death. Because as we could see the man appeared in pretty good health and was even able to ride a bike before the corrupt cop slammed him into the concrete giving him a brain bleed. Talk about a failure of the system . This is heartbreaking

I'm a retired cop and current full-time paramedic in Texas. When a paramedic is called to the scene, they become the on-scene commander. Considering the man's age and the nature of injury, (NOI), I would have done everything that I could do to get him to go to the hospital. These cops are a total insult to law enforcement and public servants.
The victim declined the FIRST offer for medical help, after the massive brain injury, I suspect a SECOND offer was never made. I think the cop lied and continued to pretend it was a simple DUI case, this explains why everyone else in the victim's chain-of-custody treated him as if they were just another DUI. This also protects the officer because less evidence would have been collected, there would be no blood draw and subsequent toxicology report, which could potentially prove the victim was sober. Charging the victim with a DUI not only ensured the rest of the department would look the other way (just another deadbeat DUI, who cares), it was the simplest, easiest, and least incriminating way the officer could cover everything up. It just took one lie, but that lie cost precious time for medical treatment and very likely caused the victim's death. Your thoughts?
This is sad. 👎👎

Although there are no updates about Sergeant Michael Kinsley's trial, Dickinson Mayor Sean Skipworth resigned on May 7, 2024 after what he called “a campaign of rumor, smear and intimidation” directed at him, his family and other city officials by “a group of people in our city who feel their power slipping away.” In particular, Mayor Skipworth worked with city officials to hire the private investigator which led to the damning report of Sergeant Kinsley. Mayor Skipworth then referred Sergeant Kinsley to the DA which lead to Kinsley's grand jury indictment and ongoing criminal trial. It seems that there are some people in Dickinson that are not happy about what Mayor Skipworth did holding the police sergeant responsible for his actions.

The guy did die. RIP :(

The other cop smiled when he said that.
Amazing how a cop could come upon two citizens having a cordial, helpful interaction, then in under a minute proceed to curse at them and treat them like criminals.
how is this "amazing"? this happens everyday all over the country. fairly ordinary i would say

His name is Michael Anthony Kinsley 07.08.1985. A Galveston County Grand Jury indicted him in February. He makes me sick.
Kinsley deserves at least 20 years in general population of the prison!!!

Hello Audit, long time subscriber, I love your videos NEVER STOP
If a Officer lies on a report, they should be charged with filing a false report, and lose their Qualified immunity. And Never be allowed to work in ANY position in law enforcement PERIOD. WE, The People, deserve servants with INTEGRITY !!!
...and prison.
They lie every day, seems to be a tradition among the boys and girls in uniform. I didn't mean the boy scouts either.
Or forced to work law enforcement without QI protections, period.
This is absolutely sickening . THIS IS MURDER. This was needless. He escalated this innocent situation. Just started cursing at him. Then the investigation was even more sickening. How can the citizens of this area be ok with this?
Citizens are perfectly OK with this, in fact this is what most of them want. Look at how many of them try to destroy Jeff Gray who is standing on the sidewalk with the sign "god bless".
Because so many "back the blue" idiot sheep exist and just blindly bend the knee to the badge.
This is how the police operate in every city in America. The fact the majority of the public still believe the police are there to protect and serve is beyond me. Even the Supreme Court ruled that police has no obligation to protect or to serve. Police are simply there to do the bidding of corrupt politicians and the entire system is setup to confiscate more money from We The People to keep Judges Cops and DAs employed at our expense.
What can the citizenry truly do? Lol, vote? The State has a monopoly on violence plus the near unlimited resources to back it up.....and there's not much if anything that can be done about except bend the knee.
They're not, they have no choice and or don't even know. There is zero accountability anywhere in America. Accountability is the EXTREME exception.
TO ALL POLICE OFFICERS OUT THERE: A single bad influence can ruin what would otherwise remain good.
DONT LIE BECAUSE OF THEM. DO WHAT IS RIGHT.FAIR.JUST.
Poor guy was a victim of a hit and run and ends up with head trauma in a county jail.. A class job
You let the driver go but harrass the innocent man who was HIT BY THE FUCKING CAR? What an unbelievable pos. RIP to this poor man, it broke my heart to watch him suffering when no one cared and to hear he died.
Someone is always going to die when the people hire a cop who quite apparently hates his job. If the subject was black they'd would have atleast brought up his criminal record. He should have complied.
It's because one of them was clearly impoverished. Cops, being the jackboots of the capitalist state they are, can't stand poverty as they view the poor as contemptuous and failures.
This is the level of competence you can expect from your Government.

Nobody talked about the initial collision he had with the car. yep, at this point, I am wondering, why the f are you guys funding these people that sworn an oath to serve and protect, yet they didn't do neither, why these bad apples still being hired in the other departments? Yeah this guy is not been charged, not just him, so many of them are still not being prosecuted from excessive force or murder? Like what is wrong USA? I hope he gets the same justice in prison that he gave that poor old man.
Nope. He’ll be sent to club fed for his own protection.
Lex talionis
I hope he gets some heavy prison time, not just 1, 2, or 3 years. If I were the judge, I would have no problem giving him 20 years without any parole. This isn't someone who went into policing to help people. This is someone who could care less about the public and he gets off on abusing people.
They'll have to keep him in isolation but word will get out who he is and where he is in the facility. Other inmates will only have to be lucky once, he'll have to be lucky always.
@@bbennyj The max sentence for what they actually charged him with is 2 years and 10k in fines. IF convicted, they will either get probation or the easiest and shortest sentence possible.
